Wenn Sie nach Ost-Java reisen, achten Sie darauf, die Morgendämmerung vom Gipfel des Mount Bromo aus zu beobachten. Diese Tour beginnt kurz vor Mitternacht und führt über eine lange Reise zum Sunrise Point, wo Sie den Sonnenaufgang über dem Mount Bromo sehen können. Bevor Sie nach Surabaya zurückkehren, unternehmen Sie einen kurzen Aufstieg zum Kraterrand, um die nahegelegene Landschaft und die aktive Caldera zu bewundern. Diese private Ganztagestour zeigt das Beste der Tengger-Semeru-Nationalpark-Region an einem einzigen Tourtag und ist somit die perfekte Wahl für Touristen mit wenig Zeit.

Seien Sie bereit, dass unser sachkundiger Fahrer und Reiseleiter Sie um 00:00 Uhr abholt und Sie entlang der Probolinggo-Straße in die Bromo-Region bringt. Ihr Abholort in Surabaya bringt Sie in etwa 3 Stunden dorthin.
Für die Fortsetzung der Reise nutzen wir einen Jeep (Allradantrieb), damit wir die holprige Route rund um die hügelige Region genießen können. Als nächstes machen wir uns auf den Weg zum Berg Penanjakan oder Kingkong Hill, dem besten Ort, um den Sonnenaufgangsblick auf Bromo zu genießen. Die Morgendämmerung erfolgt normalerweise um 04:30 Uhr. Die normalen nächtlichen Tiefsttemperaturen auf dem Mount Bromo liegen zwischen 0 und 12 Grad Celsius und werden wärmer, wenn die Sonne aufgeht. Bei Bedarf können Sie am Sunrise View Point eine zusätzliche Jacke für IDR 10.000,00 ausleihen. Wir werden in einem nahegelegenen Café Kaffee oder Tee trinken, während wir auf den Morgen warten. Für muslimische Kunden steht ein Gebetsraum zur Verfügung und die Morgengebete können bereits um 4:15 Uhr beginnen. Die Entfernung zwischen dem Café und dem Ort, an dem wir den Sonnenaufgang sehen können, beträgt nur etwa zwei Minuten.
Anschließend gehen wir den Hügel hinunter zum Jeep-Parkplatz und durchqueren das riesige Sandmeer, das durch den Ausbruch des Mount Bromo entstanden ist. Wir passieren auch eines der Touristenziele mit einem sehr attraktiven Panoramablick, der das Auge verwöhnt, nämlich den Widodaren-Hügel.
Die Fahrt zum Gipfel dauert etwa 30 Minuten. Vom Rand des Gipfels aus können Sie den Berg Semeru, den höchsten Berg der Insel Java, sowie die Caldera, die Berge des Berges Batok und den noch aktiven Bromo-Krater sehen.
Nach dem Abstieg vom Bromo-Krater müssen Sie sich auf den Weg zu einem Hindu-Tempel namens Pura Luhur Poten machen, der ein Überbleibsel eines der indonesischen Königreiche ist. Der hinduistische Tempel Pura Luhur Poten liegt in der Nähe der Basis des Mount Bromo. Der mehrheitlich hinduistische Tengger-Stamm versammelt sich in diesem Tempel zu religiösen Zeremonien. Vom Jeep-Parkplatz aus können Sie bis zu 300 Meter zu diesem Ort laufen.
Anschließend können Sie ein traditionelles indonesisches Frühstück im Restaurant Lava View genießen und zum Dorf Bromo zurückkehren, dem Bereich, in dem unser Auto geparkt war, bevor wir mit dem Jeep weiterfuhren.

My family when on a day trip from Surabaya to Madakaripura and Bromo. They can customize the trip. We had kids so decided on sunset instead of sunrise at Bromo. They were able to add on Madakaripura waterfalls as well, which was so awesome. Both places were magical. Our guide Ririn was amazing. She took pictures and made a some great videos. Definitely recommend.

We went to Mount Bromo with our family and had an amazing experience. We were picked up around midnight, and the car was very comfortable for the drive to the mountain area. The guide was very helpful throughout the trip and made everything run smoothly. The arrangement was excellent, from hotel pickup, transfer to the jeep, choosing a cozy coffee shop while waiting for sunrise, visiting the crater, and enjoying a delicious breakfast afterward. We were picked up from the hotel at the agreed time and driven about 2.5 hours to Mount Bromo, where we switched to a Jeep for the last leg of the journey. Throughout the trip, our guide (Alfa) was great as was his school friend (Ridho), who drove us to and from Surabaya. Their English was very good and Alfa was very knowledgeable about the volcano and the local history. He also took a number of photos for us on the way up as well as some group pictures at the top. The nonchalant ones he took as we walked around were particularly good. Overall a fantastic and smooth experience. If we do any more trips from Surabaya, he'll be the first person we contact.

Guide got in touch the afternoon before to explain things and answer any questions. Throughout they were so friendly and approachable, offering to take pictures and asking questions, and offering ideas about things to see and do, but also left me to sleep as well when I was tired whilst travelling. Not a super cheap option, but worth it for the overall experience. Everyone involved was really helpful with all my questions and I was extremely satisfied with the excursion.

Great trip to the Bromo volcano excellently accompanied by Ziadan called ‘Dan’ for short. He speaks excellent English and guides you well. Like most tourists we were underdressed before the cold and wind at the top at dawn. So warm coats were rented from the local people. Good to know this is possible. Although we didn’t know that all of China comes there for instagrammable photos, we also got a beautiful photo session from Dan as a gift. The beautiful nature and Bromo did the rest. Was not in the description but nice. Dan sought the best places, cleanest toilets and provided an amused conversation about culture, history, politics and religion. This excursion is really worth doing. Then plan some space to rest and sleep.

We just got back from our Bromo family trip with Landscape Bromo Tour and honestly, it was really AMAZING! Everything was very horraaayyy 😂😂 with the guide faruq. We got picked at midnight and didnt sleep till morning. Haha. T(our kids loved him!). We left around midnight to catch the sunrise, and wow… it was seriously worth it. The view was magical, something we’ll never forget. The jeep ride was so much fun, especially for the kids.
