Wir passieren die Grenze zu Frankreich und fahren landeinwärts nach Louhossoa. Wir werden uns die Beine vertreten, herumlaufen, einige interessante Ecken besuchen und an einem erstaunlichen Keksladen vorbeikommen. Bis zur Haltestelle fahren Sie etwa 40 Minuten.
Sobald wir uns der Pyrenäenkette nähern, erreichen wir Espelette, eines der schönsten Dörfer Frankreichs. Ein Spaziergang durch die Straßen dieses Dorfes ist ein wahrer Genuss. Paprikaschoten hängen an den malerischen Häusern und schaffen eine Postkarte, die man kaum vergisst In diesem Dorf gibt es viel zu sehen und zu probieren. Wir lieben es, den lokalen Händler zu besuchen und die lokalen Wurstwaren, den handwerklichen Käse aus den Pyrenäen, ihren berühmten Espelette-Pfeffer und seine Derivate, Kirschen, handwerkliches Bier und mehr zu probieren. Wir werden auch seine Straße, die erstaunliche Kirche Saint Etienne, den Friedhof und die erstaunliche und malerische Architektur im Allgemeinen besuchen. Später können wir in einem vertrauten Restaurant in der Umgebung (wo sie ihre eigenen Wurstwaren, Fleisch und Käse herstellen) ein Mittagessen vom Bauernhof zum Tisch genießen. Bis zur Haltestelle fahren Sie etwa 20 Minuten.
Sare ist ein schönes Dorf an der Grenze zu Spanien. Erfahren Sie mehr über die Vergangenheit des Dorfes, die Geschichte der Schmuggler, weitere Geheimnisse und das berühmteste Dessert. Sie lernen auch den Jai Alai Sport und Handball kennen. Bis zur Haltestelle sind es etwa 10 Autominuten.
Ainhoa wurde im 13. Jahrhundert gegründet, um Pilger auf dem Weg nach Santiago de Compostela willkommen zu heißen und ihnen zu helfen. Diese kleine Stadt hat praktisch eine große Straße mit 700 Einwohnern und liegt genau zwischen dem Le Nive-Tal und der Grenze zu Navarra und verbindet das Grün ihrer Hügel mit den weißen und roten Fassaden ihrer alten Häuser aus dem 17. Jahrhundert. Gehen wir die Straße entlang, machen Sie tolle Fotos und lernen Sie einige lokale Anekdoten kennen. Bis zur Haltestelle fahren Sie etwa 20 Minuten.
Es gibt keinen besseren Weg, um die spanische Grenze zu betreten, als am Dorf Bera vorbeizufahren, einem typischen Dorf der Navarra, mit seiner einzigartigen Architektur, wo wir anhalten und diese eleganten und einzigartigen Häuser bewundern können. Es gibt ungefähr 45 Minuten Fahrt von hier nach SS.

This was a laid back, private tour of the French countryside. We saw several towns that were along the St James walk. The tour took a very scenic route through the old towns, which was great. Sebastián was very informative and knew a lot of the history. His English was great. The tour is a bit pricy, and you had to pay for your own lunch, but the stop for dessert was amazing!

It is a nice. I would have rather spent a little more time in one of the other places and just. visited one less town.

Our guide,Sebastián, was excellent. From pick up to drop off he was outstanding in providing help,information, and being all around friendly. He was so enthusiastic, it felt like we were all seeing everything for the first time. The tour took us through an amazing landscape and he provided wonderful detail and delightful surprises. Our stops in each village gave us a chance to explore and learn about the Basque culture and language.
