Wir beginnen unsere Tour zum Schutzgebiet (Wadi Al-Hitan) (Tal der Wale), etwa 90 km von Fayoum entfernt. Auf dem Weg zu den Wasserfällen Wadi El Rayan besuchen Sie den Berg Mudawara. Dann zu den Wasserfällen Wadi Al Ryan. Wadi El Rayan ist eine natürliche Senke in der westlichen Wüste, 42 m unter dem Meeresspiegel. Wadi Rayan besteht aus zwei Seen, die durch Ägyptens einzige Wasserfälle verbunden sind, die 1970 durch einen Überlauf von Drainagewasser aus dem Ackerland in Fayoum entstanden sind.
