Our driver really knew his stuff. He pointed out tiny details like fresh paw prints and bird calls. Best moment was a massive tusker blocking the track — we had to just sit and wait while he slowly moved on.
We went with Yashara who was absolutely great and super knowledgable. Picked up us bang on time then took us to see so many elephants, and we were lucky enough to see 3no. Leopards. Breakfast and lunch were also delicious. Finally I left my kindle in the truck from the day before and he very very kindly met us in town to drop it back off to me. Which is hugely appreciated. Top guy!
The tour was amazing! We saw elephants, monkeys, crocodiles, peacocks, many birds, wild pigs, and a leopard!! Dilan worked hard to ensure we saw as many animals as possible and with his skills as a guide we got to see the famous leopard. He taught us about the animals and lunch was wonderful. Highly recommended to anyone who is considering the trip. Worth it!!
I really enjoyed this safari. The driver, Yashara, was great - right on time for the pick up, friendly and really tried hard to get us to see all the animals we hoped for. I was pleased I did the full day, as we just saw a leopard at the end of the day!
We had an unforgetable day at Yala Natalia Park. Thanks to our guide Yashara and his knowledge and habilities we could saw everything including the leopard! Its a one lifetime adventure!
Amazing experience in the Yala with a fantastic guide Yashara, we saw 2 leopards and many other incredible animals and had the best day. I would absolutely recommend Shehan Safari's and Yashara as a guide!
We spent two nights at Yala Safari Camp and did 3 safaris - two half days and one full day with Shehan Safari guided. It was a 10/10 experience - the Safari guides from Shehan Safari are also fantastic - we spent the three days with Yasha who did an AMAZING job and gave us a Safari we will never forget. He knew all the places for us to have a good chance at seeing animals and we saw pretty much everything - crocodiles, elephants, a bear, a leopard, more birds than I could count. He was very knowledgeable about the area as well as all the animals we saw and took the time to explain things to us. We also really appreciated that he took his time, didn’t rush, found off-beat tracks with no one else around and also made sure to view the animals in a humane way without disturbing them which was really important for us. All in all an unmissable experience, I would recommend to anyone who has the chance!
Such a blissful day, Don't miss the yala national park. you can spot all the animals in abundance. Each second is a thrill. We saw leopards, crocodiles, different species of birds. peacocks matting, wild pigs, elephants, beautiful open land, rich nature. Totally worth the full day safari trip.
We had the most amazing day at Yala Safari with our driver Motto. The full day safari was definitely the right choice as the day flew by. Our driver Motto enabled us to get the closest encounters with both leopards and elephants on multiple occasions. A picnic breakfast was provided along with a wonderful curry lunch and water and juice for the day.
We had an amazing time on the safari. Our guide Moshe was kind, professional and a fantastic guide! We saw leopards, elephants, crocodiles, toucans, monkeys and mongoose. The food was really tasty and Modhu provided water too. I would definitely recommend this trip. We enjoyed it more as we paid for a private trip so we had a lot of space in the jeep, this was really worth the money.
