Ganztägige LA-Tour: Hollywood, Beverly Hills und Santa Monica

The driver/tourguide was terrible. I can make a long list of what was not good, but in short: - He gave us very little information of the various sights and general information - He was not talking clearly, so it was very difficult to understand the little relevant info he gave - He constantly played loud music in the bus, which was only disturbing and made it difficult to hear what he was telling us - Difficult to understand when he was giving actual facts and when he was joking, making it hard to believe anything - He brought up his personal problems with his home internet provider AT&T and gave some bad comments/remarks about this only because we passed their offices (he should keep his personal life and problems to himself and not share with a full bus of people, in which there potentially employees of AT&T) - he was in general commenting on lot of topics/items not all all relevant for the tour, probably because he had too little relevant knowledge to share - He kept joking and talking with the persons in the front row, but we could only hear his part of the conversation due to his PA and of course not of interest for us The sights/stops in itself were good, but we really had no tourguide to tell us what we saw.

This tour was definitely worth the money. Our guide Alana was very knowledgeable and an excellent driver. We had enough time at each stop to get the experience and we saw and learned more about LA in one day than if we had spent a week on our own. Also, if you’re going to be here for several days, it gives you a good idea of what you want to go back to and spend more time at. Alana also told us fun facts you aren’t going to learn about reading brochures or displays.

If you're looking to view the surrounding area I highly recommend doing this tour, as driving around in traffic can be pretty hectic if doing it yourself. I was able to see and experience pretty much everything I wanted to on this tour. Highly recommend it.

Wowza what a superb day we had on our LA Tour - on arrival at the Hollywood City Tours office the guys was super friendly and helpful explaining our day ahead and itinerary. Then once on board our tour mini bus we realised straight away we had the very best driver and tour guide with Sammy D. What a great guy. Nothing was too much trouble and his knowledge not only of Hollywood but LA was excellent, humorous and very fact filled pointing out brilliant photo opportunities. Sammy went the extra mile with his customer service skills in arranging a taxi for us to return to San Pedro. Thank you Sammy and thank you Hollywood City Tours for a memorable day. Colin & Bev.

Sammy was a delightful tour guide he has a great sense of humor anyone who gets him is lucky as he is well versed on the history of Hollywood and he is also a people person with a vibrant spirit

Arrived at the tour to be told that they didn’t have a driver and it was canceled. They said they tried to call, which they didn’t, but thankfully gave a full refund.

The Hollywood City Tours full-day experience was absolutely incredible! We got to see all the iconic spots. From the stunning Santa Monica Pier and the famous Hollywood Walk of Fame to the glamorous streets of Beverly Hills, the breathtaking views at Griffith Observatory, and the vibrant Farmers Market. A huge shoutout to Alana, our driver and guide, who truly made the day unforgettable. Her storytelling skills, fun personality, and deep knowledge of Los Angeles brought every stop to life. She kept the group entertained and informed the entire time. Highly recommend this tour for anyone wanting to experience the best of LA in one day!

Great trip. We had the driver Mr Hollywoodz drive us from Hollywood to Santa Monica to the Griffiths Obseratory. His information was excellent and we learnt a lot. Would highly recommend this trip.

Sammy was a fantastic tour guide! He was very funny and knowledgeable. This tour is a fantastic way to see some LA landmarks in an affordable and accessible way. I would recommend this tour to anyone visiting LA.
