Swayambhunath liegt auf einem kleinen Hügel westlich des Kathmandu-Tals. Auch bekannt als der Affentempel. Swayambhunath ist ein alter buddhistischer Stupa mit einer glitzernden weißen Kuppel und einem wachsamen Augenpaar auf der Spitze. Es ist eine der heiligsten Stätten für Buddhisten und bietet einen Panoramablick auf das Kathmandu-Tal.
Boudhanath liegt im Herzen von Kathmandu und ist einer der größten Stupas in Nepal und ein bedeutendes Zentrum des tibetischen Buddhismus. Sein kolossales Mandala-Design ist mit bunten Gebetsfahnen geschmückt und von Klöstern umgeben, was es zu einem ruhigen Ort für Anbetung und Besinnung macht.

Der Patan Durbar Square liegt in der Stadt Patan, etwa 8 Kilometer von Kathmandu entfernt und ist ein weiterer königlicher Palastkomplex, der Newar-Architektur und -Kunst präsentiert. Es verfügt über gut erhaltene Tempel, Innenhöfe und Museen und bietet einen Einblick in das reiche Erbe des Newar-Volkes.
Der Bhaktapur Durbar Square in Bhaktapur, einer Nachbarstadt von Kathmandu, ist ein Meisterwerk der Kunst und bekannt für seinen mittelalterlichen Charme und sein gut erhaltenes Erbe. Der Platz beherbergt zahlreiche Tempel, Statuen und kunstvoll geschnitzte Gebäude und bietet eine Zeitreise zurück in die mittelalterliche Malla-Zeit.
Der Changunarayan-Tempel liegt auf einem Hügel in der Nähe von Bhaktapur und ist einer der ältesten Hindu-Tempel in Nepal. Er ist bekannt für seine exquisiten Steininschriften und aufwendigen Holzarbeiten. Der Tempel ist Lord Vishnu gewidmet und von üppigem Grün umgeben.

I had booked a morning sunrise trip to Nagarkot followed by a trek to Changunarayan temple from Sialkot village. I was picked up from my Kathmandu hotel around 5am and by 6am, we had reached Nagarkot. Along with the driver, my guide was Subhash, who knew mucha bout the place. Unfortunately for us, the sky was very cloudy and no snow peak could be seen. We then had tea at a dhaba and checked out the Buddha Peace Pagoda followed by the Ran Jhula hanging bridge. The car then drove another kilometer and dropped us at Sialkot village for where we started a trek through light forests and a trail. After about 90 minutes, we reached the Changunarayan temple. The car had already reached the temple entrance before so I could leave my jacket. We went up the stairs and spent about 30-40 mins at the temple and also some time at the shops going up. Although I was supposed to be dropped back to the hotel, I chose to get off at Lalitpur Durbar Square.
Excellent tour of Kathmandu’s main attractions. Very knowledgeable and courteous guide that respects our preferences and tailors the tour accordingly. Great experience!

Great experience, extremely knowledgeable guide Subash, speaks fluent english, total entry fee for 7 UNESCO sites are NPR6000, prepare accordingly. My trip took 10hrs 30mins, slightly rushed but nonetheless still very informative. Would recommend.

My guide subash met me the morning of the excursion in the lobby of my hotel. He was prompt, friendly and greeted me with a warm smile. He outlined the day for me and asked me if i wanted to make any changes. He told me the main point of the trip was to make and keep me happy. Before each location he told me how far away it was and during each stop he gave me a good history of each site and allowed me to take ample photos and time on my own to absorb everything He suggested where and what to have for lunch and he and the driver returned me to the hotel safe and sound

Though a bit pricey lots of things were covered in 1 day . Subhash the guide was perfect in every way for a first time traveller . Not only he showed all 7 unesco sites as in the itinerary he went far and beyond to make sure to do everything we wanted . Very friendly , kind and knowledgeable. Umesh did a great job as the guide, he showed up early and on time to pick me up which was great! He made sure to help me out by taking many great pictures of me since I was traveling solo. He made sure to keep me well informed on everything and gave me great insight on both Hinduism and Buddhism. I definitely reccomend umesh if you want to have a great and informative tour! I highly recommend this tour! You can see all 7 UNESCO world heritage sites in 1 day without worrying about transportation or logistics (it makes your time in Nepal more efficient), it's all planned out for you so all you have to do is enjoy! The sites are all beautiful and the tour guide was absolutely wonderful! I would recommend requesting Sumit for your tour guide as he was excellent, the driver was wonderful too (I didn't catch his name), it was pouring rain out but somehow Sumit was still made all the sites interesting and magical, well organized, coordinated, very good info. and provided context for all the sites which you wouldn't have going on your own, and absolutely a wonderful experience! I do highly recommend! Make sure you do bring a lot of cash as you are responsible for all the entrance fees to the temple, and extra cash as most of the sites will have things you can buy (which I wasn't able to because I was running out of rupees, so exchange your money to rupees before the tour).
