Nachdem Taj Mahal das Agra Fort gesehen hat, ist das Agra Fort ein historisches Fort in der Stadt Agra in Indien. Es war die Hauptresidenz der Kaiser der Mogul-Dynastie bis 1638, als die Hauptstadt von Agra nach Delhi verlegt wurde. Vor der Gefangennahme durch die Briten waren die Marathas die letzten indischen Herrscher, die es besetzt hatten.
Das Mausoleum befindet sich am östlichen Ufer des Flusses Yamuna in einem großen kreuzförmigen Garten, der von Wasserläufen und Gehwegen durchzogen ist. Das Mausoleum selbst erstreckt sich über eine Fläche von etwa 23 Quadratmetern und ist auf einer Basis von etwa 50 Quadratmetern und einer Höhe von etwa einem Meter errichtet. An jeder Ecke befinden sich sechseckige Türme, die ungefähr dreizehn Meter hoch sind. Die Wände bestehen aus weißem Marmor aus Rajasthan, der mit Halbedelsteindekorationen besetzt ist: Kornelkirsche, Jaspis, Lapislazuli, Onyx und Topas, die zu Bildern von Zypressen und Weinflaschen geformt sind, oder aufwändigeren Dekorationen wie geschnittenen Früchten oder Vasen mit Blumensträußen . Licht dringt durch zarte Jali-Bildschirme aus kunstvoll geschnitztem weißem Marmor in den Innenraum ein. Viele Verwandte von Nūr Jahān sind im Mausoleum beigesetzt. Das einzige asymmetrische Element des gesamten Komplexes ist, dass die Kenotaphen ihres Vaters und ihrer Mutter nebeneinander stehen, eine Formation, die im Taj Mahal nachgebildet wurde. Geschichte

We went to see the Taj Mahal with Amit, and had a really nice experience. He’s a very knowledgeable and communicative guide, sharing a lot of trivias and historical details along the way. He also knows exactly where and how to get the best pictures and videos!

Me and my friends did tour of City of Taj Agra and we had a wonderful time there with our guide from Pashmina Tours. Fantastic tour with so much information! Everything was seamless and our tour guide Rajesh explained everything to us while taking beautiful pictures.We had a little problem with the transportation but Rajesh and the driver were quick to fix it and made this trip great! Recommended!
