Reiseverlauf

Even though this trip is 16 hours long, it was a fantastic trip to one of the most amazing places on earth. Our driver Jonathan was excellent and got us there and back. Driving for 16 hours is never easy. Our guide Juan was charismatic, friendly, and extremely knowledgable of the park and its flora and fauna if you’re lucky and go on a windless day, you will get some excellent photos around the park.
Thank you Mark for sharing your experience with us Best regards
The program item mentioned in the travel description - for me the highlight and the reason for booking - a 20-minute suspension bridge walk to be close to the action at the ice floes that fall into the water - just did not happen! I was also back at the hotel 1.5 hours earlier than described. Feel betrayed! This behavior is untrustworthy! The travel companion felt absolutely not responsible when I confronted him about it! Here tourists / guests are ripped off and simply carted across the country to lakes and mountains. Under the motto: nobody notices anyway! Close look recommended!
Dear passenger We are very sorry you didn't enjoy the tour, but if route conditions or weather conditions are not good to stop in Grey lake, because of safety we prefer to skip it and stop in others viewpoints.
This was a wonderful day with incredible views! Daniel was a great, knowledgeable and enthusiastic guide! Jaime was a good driver. Daniel was happy to answer our many questions and taught us so much about Patagonia. We saw SO many animals! Including an elusive puma (or two?!) Guanacos (alpaca), condors, rheas, flamingos… But it’s definitely a long day in the car. Three straight hours out/back with no stops. Lots of stops in between. There were opportunities to purchase food but understand it’s not guaranteed depending on timing. For some reason I thought there was some level of hiking on this tour, which there wasn’t.. I clearly just misunderstood but thought I’d note it so others don’t make the same mistake. Highly recommend this experience!
Thank you for your comments Stacey Best
It’s along ride from Punta Arenas and totally worth it. The majestic views were breathtaking. Absolutely recommend!
Thank you Carlos for your good comments Best
This was an amazing tour. Daniel is brilliant!! Cannot recommend him more highly.
Thank you so much for your comments! Best
We had a great time! The drive was beautiful, and the van was clean and comfortable with room for up to eight passengers (not including the driver and tour guide). Our original tour guide had an emergency last minute, but we picked up a different tour guide in Puerto Natales and she was wonderful! She was very knowledgable and passionate, and happy to answer all of our questions. The trip is mostly driving with only a little bit of walking at the Milodon cave. We stopped for snacks and drinks in Cerro Castillo (where you can buy souvenirs) and stopped for lunch at a restaurant inside the national park. They stopped to view wildlife along the way so we could enjoy and take pictures. Be prepared for all types of weather - cold, sun, wind, rain - it changes all the time. Long day but totally worth it!
Thank you guys for sharing your experience with us Best

I booked this tour through Viator, and the day before the tour they dumped me onto another company called Camino Tours with zero explanation. I waited in front of my hotel at 5:00 AM in the freezing dark for over an hour. No pickup. No text. No call. Nothing. I tried calling and messaging—of course, no response. Seven hours later, at 12 PM, they finally replied saying they “don’t know why” the other company didn’t pick me up. Seriously? They then offered to refund me and take me the next day. Guess what? That was my last day in Punta Arenas. They refunded the money, but they cannot refund my time, stress, ruined day, or the only reason I flew all the way from the U.S. to Punta Arenas: Torres del Paine. Good luck trusting this company. You might get your money back, but your tour probably won’t happen. What a joke.
