Sie können "Turtle Conservation Project" sehen, während Sie nach Galle reisen. Unterwegs nach Galle können Sie eine 1,5-stündige Bootsfahrt auf dem Fluss Madhu unternehmen. In diesem Fluss befinden sich 64 Inseln. Sie können diese Inseln sehen, während Sie diese Bootssafari genießen. Es wird eine großartige Bootstour für Sie. Außerdem können Sie Mangroven, Wassermonitore, Affen, Krokodile, Komoranten, Zimtinseln, Fischmassagen, buddhistische Tempel auf der Insel und vieles mehr sehen.
Als nächstes fahren wir zur einzigen natürlichen Mondsteinmine in Srilanka. Sie können die Mondsteinminen und die Fabrik besichtigen. Mondstein ist ein Natrium-Kalium-Aluminium-Silikat der Feldspat-Gruppe, das einen perlmuttartigen und opalisierenden Schiller aufweist. Ein alternativer Name ist Hekatolith.
Der 26. Dezember 2004 war ein sehr dunkler Tag für Sri Lanka. Weil die Tsunami-Tragödie in die südliche Provinz Sri Lankas kam. In diesem Museum befinden sich Fotos dieser Tragödie. Sie können es sehen, während Sie nach Galle reisen. Warnung - Wenn Sie eine verängstigte oder traumatisierte Person sind, sollten Sie dieses Museum nicht mehr sehen, danach können wir die Tsunami-Gedenkstätte auch in der Nähe sehen.
Direkt an der Küste nördlich von Hikkaduwa befindet sich die Statue eines stehenden Buddha, der mit seinen Händen im Abhaya Mudra (Buddha-Pose, die Furchtlosigkeit und Schutz vermittelt) den Wellen zugewandt ist. Die Statue ist eine Nachbildung des afghanischen Bamiyan Buddha, der 2001 von den Taliban zerstört wurde.
Nach dem Mittagessen besuchen wir die Festung Galle, ein sehr alter Ort in Sri Lanka. Diese Festung wurde von den Portugiesen im Jahre 1588 gegründet, weil Sri Lanka früher eine portugiesische Kolonie war. Diese Festung beherbergt so viele antike Dinge und ihren höheren Platz in der Stadt Galle. Darüber hinaus können Sie den Glockenturm, die Bastionen, den natürlichen Hafen von Galle, den Leuchtturm, die niederländische Kirche und vieles mehr sehen. Danach fahren wir zurück zu Ihrem Hotel.

Have not long arrived home from the most amazing holiday in Sri Lanka! This was mainly due to the trips that Dimuthu had planned for us. The trips we went on were fantastic. Our day trip to Galle was great. It is such a beautiful place. The scenery and stops we made during our way to Galle, were great. Galle is such a lovely place. We had a wonderful day experiencing a glimpse into what Sri Lanka has to offer. It was our first full day in Sri Lanka but the tour was a great way to kick things off. We started off with Dim picking us up early and setting off. We were provided water upon entering the car. The car was very spacious and well air conditioned which was very welcome on a very hot day. Dim was fantastic throughout, giving us plenty of information on the local area, taking us to many local spots including a turtle conservation project, local shops and a boat tour. The boat tour was a particular highlight that we both loved where we saw many stunning views and wildlife. After some lunch, we capped off the tour finishing up in Galle which was stunning. We drove around highlighting some key points before jumping out to see some of the stunning views. Dim was very knowledgeable and gave some insight into the fort and its history. Overall, we had a fantastic time and would thoroughly recommend Dim for this trip and many of the others he offers.

Booked Dim for our day tour to Galle. Had an amazing day , visited lots of interesting places. Had great time on the Madu river boat . We then stopped at a restaurant for lunch recommended by Dim in Hikkaduwa, excellent choice . Finished off with tour round Galle . Dim has a great knowledge of history. We travelled in comfort with a great guide , he even stopped and got some medication for my partner who was not feeling to great . Can’t recommend him highly enough .
