Galapagos Bezaubernde 3 Inseln (5 Tage)

Galapagos is an amazing experience for the unique nature, amazing beaches, the natural history and the animals. We spent a week visiting the 3 main islands and Edwin and his team took perfect care for us. Everything was meticulously planned; any extra need or wish from the group was addressed and we always felt perfectly safe and peaceful. Edwin works with certified local guides that are compulsory for your visit - all young people that speak perfect English and can tell you each and every detail about the animals and the sites you visit. Also visiting the islands themselves means that you get to know Ecuadorians, their lifestyle and culture better and they are some of the most welcoming, smart and funny people you can meet. The tour offers exceptional value for money and can be paired with a tour of Quito, the Ecuator line or the Mindo rainforest which Edwin organized as an extra for our group. The Galapagos Dream organization provides a suite of services from airport pickup, transit to and back from tours and prearranged various individual and group tours by other guides and operators. Their base is the Galapagos Dreams hotel and guest suites which hs a small dining room and bar. They have sufficient English to meet our needs, but on occasions we had difficulty getting details to help us prepare. The staff were remarkably attentive, rooms cleaned daily, the food was simple and adequate. The hotel is located one block off and toward the East end of the main commercial street. The walking distances were short measured in a few blocks to all the major restaurants, shopping and tour disembarcation piers. Of particular note, my wife had a set of injuries while transiting from a water taxi to a ferry where she fell between the boats. This resulted in loosing a 2x3” section of skin on her shin and broke ribs. After returning from the tour the Galapagos Dreams staff explained medical options and arranged for her to see a private doctor outside the hospital late in the evening for stitches and treatment. This cemented out positive feelings. In general, we felt the king size bed was adequate if a bit hard. We had water that was not really hot, but not cold. I missed a hot shower. The AC was strong at night. Port Ayora is a small, nice town with both upscale and medium scale hotels and restaurants. There is little in the way of easily accessible beaches. The wildlife is good and local tours were fun. Isabela Island had much better wildlife but fewer amenities. Each of our tours was handled well. If I had it to do over, I would have gone to a local company and rented snorkeling equiptment fitted to me rather than depending on the equiptment in the boat. I had one snorkeling event where I had a fin that would not stay tight and had significant difficulty returning to the boat.

We had the best experience with Cami, they arranged everything well and communicated before and during the trip to ensure everything was running smoothly. They were very professional and the whole tour was flawless, we had the best time in the Galápagos, we would highly recommend booking this trip. We visited 3 islands, the hotel was great and each day was magical during our time there. It was very safe and we were well looked after.

An individual trip was arranged for me. So I had a trip every day and saw many different highlights. I wasn't aware in advance that I wasn't traveling in a tour group that you still go out with in the evening. I also met new people every day, or it was a group just made up of me and the guide. Overall, I really liked it.

it was not worth $1000.00 each... it was ok not great. hot tub in accommodations was not hot when asked to heat hot tub she said she would not. meals ok.. not a lot of food or taste. the hotel was confused of our plans, no explanation of tours. we were left alone a lot to do our own on the "tour" grumpy tour guide :( when we did have a driver no one met us as told, after the first tour.

In the hotel very good Service, clean and comfortable rooms. The tours in general were great. Only a few of us would have liked more information before we arrived on the islands. On the tour to Playa Tortuga we should have been offered the round trip or the return by boat. We wasted a lot of time walking and the truth wasn't worth it. The tide was too low for snorkeling and the sea very rough. We had only 20 minutes to be there because we had to return to get to the entrance booth at 5:00 pm. 😞

We had a fabulous experience. The Galapagos Dreams Hotel staff helped us all along the way. We didn't expect as much snorkeling as we did, and it turned out great. If you have trouble with motion sickness, make sure to take medicine, especially for the trip to Isabela Island. We saw just about every animal we wanted to see. We added the Charles Darwin Research Station and stayed a few extra days. We recommended the Research Station, it was very informative.

We had a great experience in Galapagos. We saw almost everything we wanted to see. The snorkeling was amazing. The only negative was to boat ride to Isabela and back. If we did it again we would stay overnight in Isabela

Firstly, i have to say, Galapagos is much safer than a lot of cities in Asia. Galapagos is very different from the rest of Ecuador. This tour by Cami Adventure is really very well organised. At every part of the journey, i can see that they pay attention to every details. We also took some early morning walks from our hotel to the nearby beach for sunrise and we felt totally safe. People in the island are friendly and helpful. I would go with Cami Adventure again if i go back to Galapagos (and i think I might do that).
