Sie fahren auf einem Motorboot in Richtung des berühmten Mnemba Atoll Marine Reserve. Sie schnorcheln im kristallklaren türkisfarbenen Wasser über einem lebendigen Korallenriff, das mit tropischen Fischen (Seeteufel, Blaufleckrochen und Zebrafische) gefüllt ist. Es besteht eine sehr hohe Wahrscheinlichkeit (ca. 70 - 80%) in der Nähe von Großen Tümmlern unterwegs zu schwimmen.
Anschließend besuchen Sie das berühmte natürliche Gezeitenbecken in Nungwi. Hier können Sie neben geretteten Grünen Meeresschildkröten schwimmen, sie mit Meeressalat (Algen) füttern und sich über die Naturschutzbemühungen des Schutzgebiets informieren, bevor sie die Schildkröten wieder in die Wildnis entlassen. Es ist eine unglaubliche, hautnahe Fotogelegenheit.
Beenden Sie Ihren Tag am Kendwa Beach, der berühmt dafür ist, einen der einzigen Strände der Insel zu haben, der nicht von Ebbe betroffen ist (das Wasser bleibt den ganzen Tag tief und schwimmbar). Entspannen Sie auf dem pulverweißen Sand, schwimmen Sie in den ruhigen Wellen und beobachten Sie einen afrikanischen Sonnenuntergang von Weltklasse über dem Indischen Ozean. Viele Touren bieten während dieser Zeit eine Dhow-Bootsfahrt bei Sonnenuntergang oder Getränke an einer Strandbar an.
