Dies ist die Historic Triangle Tour. Reisen Sie mit einem Einheimischen zurück in die Vergangenheit und in chronologischer Reihenfolge. Wir verbringen den ersten Teil unseres Tages im 17. Jahrhundert und den zweiten Teil im 18. Jahrhundert. Hier begann das Land, Sie werden die Geschichte von einem Einheimischen sehen und lernen. Wir beginnen unseren Tag in Jamestown, wo wir 1607 eine geführte Tour unternehmen. Unser Mittagsstopp ist dann das Café, das einem lokalen Restaurant gehört, wo wir eine Mahlzeit einnehmen, die auf Wunsch im Kolonialstil serviert wird. Nach dem Mittagessen reisen wir mit einer Schlachtfeldtour ins 18. Jahrhundert und beenden den Tag im Revolutionary War Museum.

Jamestown ist der Ort, an dem die Engländer 1607 ankamen. Wir werden im ersten Teil unseres Tages etwas über die Geschichte des 17. Jahrhunderts erfahren. Wir haben eine 1-stündige Führung und 1 Stunde Freizeit.

Das Yorktown War Museum erklärt das Leben im 18. Jahrhundert während des Unabhängigkeitskrieges. Wir werden eine teilweise geführte Tour sowie Freizeit haben, um sie auf eigene Faust zu erkunden.
Auf dem Schlachtfeld von Yorktown wird 1781 die Armee von George Washington der Armee des britischen Generals Lord Cornwallis gegenüberstehen. Wir werden eine geführte Tour durch einen Teil des Schlachtfeldes mit einigen Bildstopps machen.

Excellent tour and knowledgeable guide. Will worth the time.
The confirmed trip was cancelled due to inconvenoence for the provider. When i have travelled across the country the tour it is not satisfactory although the refund was quickly approved. Care to refubd air fare and lodging (rhetorical)?
We had such an amazing, fun, interesting, history filled day! Matt did a great job of covering all the main points, keeping us entertained, driving us all over and providing us with a wonderful lunch! This tour is a MUST DO!
The tour guide/bus driver was knowledgeable and personable. He was very able and recommendable.
The bus tour is long however the day goes fast! You learn a lot and get a great idea of the area and the history. The lunch stop was good and you have some free time at the different locations to see what you want, use the facilities, gift shops etc. It is a nice blend of tour guide and explore time. The brand new bus is comfortable and gorgeous! The guide is extremely well educated and works hard to keep any kids/teens engaged in the day.
The tour was both a real learning experience as well as really enjoyable. This was due to our guide. It was a real pleasure spending the day with him and our group.
This was a very interesting experience getting to see about the colonial life and visiting all of the experience. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and kept things very interesting and interactive for all of us. The colonial lunch was also a great experience. We loved every moment of our tour.
I was told by the ticket agent at Jamestown that trying to do Jamestown and Yorktown in one day is difficult. I found it was very doable because of the Viator package, transportation and lunch. This is a bargain. The guide was a local whose family has lived in the area for many generations.

This was the best way to visit Jamestown and Yorktown. Our tour guide, Matt, was the best. Not only did he have the best sense of humor, but he was also so knowledgeable and knew how to share it in a way that made it all interesting. The bus was very comfortable. It lowered to the ground to get on and off (which was very helpful for me since I am only 4'11"). There were outlets at the seats to charge your phone, too. We were given some free time at both locations. We never felt rushed and were given plenty of restroom breaks. The meal provided was delicious and thoroughly enjoyed. You could choose something authentic or modern. We would definitely recommend this tour so you can enjoy your time here.
