Erkunden Sie die berühmten Tempel von Delhi und sehen Sie die architektonischen Wunderwerke. Besuchen Sie den Swaminarayan Akshardham Tempel in Neu-Delhi, der 10.000 Jahre indische Kultur in all ihrer atemberaubenden Größe, Schönheit, Weisheit und Glückseligkeit verkörpert. Dann besuchen Sie das Gurudwara Bangla Sahib, das prominenteste Sikh Gurdwara oder Sikh Haus der Anbetung. Das Gelände umfasst den Tempel, eine Küche, einen großen Teich, eine Schule und eine Kunstgalerie. Am Abend können Sie im antiken Krishna-Tempel, bekannt als ISKON, an einer Licht Zeremonie teilnehmen.

Um 9.00 Uhr werden Sie von Ihrem Hotel abgeholt, um Ihre geführte Tempeltour in Old und New Delhi in einem privaten Fahrzeug zu genießen. Um 10 Uhr besuchen Sie den Swaminarayan Akshardham-Tempel (montags geschlossen) in Neu-Delhi. Der Swaminarayan-Akshardham-Komplex wurde 2005 vom Guinness-Weltrekord als größter umfassender Hindu-Tempel der Welt angekündigt. Gegen 12:30 Uhr besuchen Sie den Gurudwara Bangla Sahib, den bekanntesten Sikh-Gurdwara oder das Gotteshaus. Es ist ein heiliger Ort des Sikh-Glaubens, der Menschen aller Kasten, Glaubensrichtungen und Glaubensrichtungen offen steht. Innerhalb dieses Gurudwara gibt es einen heiligen Teich, in dem Devotees ein Bad nehmen. Dieses Gurudwara wird vom Delhi Sikh Gurudwara Management Committee verwaltet, das auch die Geburt von Guru Sri Harkrishan Sahib feiert. Um 13:30 Uhr machen Sie eine Mittagspause. Ihr Mittagessen erhalten Sie in einem der besten Restaurants vor Ort. Nach dem Mittagessen, gegen 15 Uhr, besuchen Sie den Lotus-Tempel, der auch als Bahai-Tempel (montags geschlossen) bekannt ist. Dort gibt es eine beeindruckende, schlichte zentrale Halle, in der Sie meditieren können. Die Halle ist 34,27 Meter hoch. Denkanregende Zitate aus den heiligen Schriften der Bahai sind auf den Nischen des Blütenblatts angebracht. Inmitten wunderschöner Gärten ist der Tempel am schönsten, wenn die Sonne diese Lotusblüten blendet. Beim Betreten müssen Sie Ihre Schuhe ausziehen und schweigen. Gegen 16:30 Uhr haben Sie etwas Zeit zum Einkaufen in Delhi. Einkaufen in Delhi kann entmutigend sein, wenn Sie nicht wissen, wohin Sie gehen und wie Sie dorthin gelangen. Die Hauptstadt Indiens ist eine der aufregendsten Gegenden für den Kauf von Textilien (Stoff und Kleidung), Schmuck, Schuhe, Taschen, Leder, Teppiche, Kunsthandwerk, traditionelle und zeitgenössische indische Kunst. Die Stadt hat viele verschiedene Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, jeder Markt hat ein unverwechselbares Ambiente. Gegen 19 Uhr besuchen Sie den ISKON-Tempel, an dem Sie an einem abendlichen Aarti oder einer Lichtzeremonie teilnehmen. Nach der Lichtzeremonie werden Sie am Ende Ihres Tages gegen 20:00 Uhr in Ihrem Hotel oder am Connaught Place im Herzen von Delhi abgesetzt, wo Sie die örtlichen Basare erkunden können.

We were a group of 20 friends and Deejohn Holidays provided a very good support and guidance. The guide Satish was just perfect, always smiling, patient and always there to help. The whole staff was punctual, friendly and ready to respond to all our needs. They arranged our trips to Ellora Caves (A must see!), Ajanta, Aurangabad and other locations, where we had another incredible guide who even sang to us to let us feel the authentic experience in temples and caves. Sumit and our driver picked us up promptly from the hotel the morning of the tour. We were 3 people and we travelled comfortably. We had a wonderful day, seeing amazing monuments and historical sites. Mahip was very knowledgeable and could answer any questions we asked. He was a great guide, and he went out of his way to show us places and things that interested us, he also took some great photos of us. I highly recommend him as a guide :)

I enjoyed the places of worship. However, I felt the tour was rushed and not thorough. For example, Akshardham had so many more things to do like a boat ride, etc. After blistering through, I asked if there was more but I was never shown or offered or explained about a boat ride. The hospitality service of the very young 21 y/o tour guide and driver was poor. I was left standing alone several times, not made comfortable in lines like other tour guides did for their customers, i.e., securing meeting places and advances in lines, and clear directions. Simple customer service was gravely missing like offering to open the car door or other doors for me as a single woman of color on this tour. I gave 2 stars because I enjoyed the Temples and history printed throughout that I read myself. I don't recommend this company.

<p>Excellent guide and driver.<br/> Highlight of the tour was Akshardham Temple and having a fabulous lunch there.<br/> Did not visit Lotus Temple because the lineups were too long.<br/> And did not go inside of ISKON Temple cause it was closed in the afternoon.</p>
