Abholung um 6 Uhr morgens bei Sonnenaufgang, um das monumentale Erbe der Großen Moguln zu erkunden, das prächtige Taj Mahal (freitags geschlossen) zu besuchen, ein UNESCO-Weltkulturerbe, eines der sieben Weltwunder und sicherlich der extravaganteste Ausdruck von Liebe, die je geschaffen wurde. 20.000 Männer arbeiteten über 17 Jahre daran, dieses Denkmal für Shah Jahans geliebte Frau zu errichten. Es ist eine Fülle von weißem Marmor und Halbedelsteinen - «zweifellos der Höhepunkt der Tour» Nach Taj Mahal kehren wir zum Frühstück in Ihr Hotel zurück.
Anschließend besichtigen wir das imposante Agra Fort, ein UNESCO-Weltkulturerbe. Diese mächtige Festung aus rotem Sandstein umfasst innerhalb ihrer 2,5 km langen Umfassungsmauern die Kaiserstadt der Mogulherrscher. Es umfasst viele märchenhafte Paläste wie den Jahangir-Palast und den Khas Mahal, die von Shah Jahan erbaut wurden. Audienzsäle wie der Diwan-i-Khas; und zwei sehr schöne Moscheen.
Mittagspause gegen 13.30 Uhr, wo Sie ein Buffet in einem der besten Restaurants der Region genießen können.
Nach dem Mittagessen machen Sie eine geführte Shoppingtour durch Agra, um die lokalen Handwerks- und Einkaufszentren der Stadt zu erkunden, in denen Sie nach Marmoreinlagen, hochwertigen Teppichen, Zari und Stickereien, Lederwaren usw. suchen können.
