Steps too fast. we run all the time without having time to appreciate. visits to the farm. They are for commercial purposes. No explanation. Quick tastings before they follow up on another group. good lunch though ..Nice discovery on betancouria. for caves time bcp too short
As per other reviews, the tour felt rushed (especially in early parts) e.g. goats/cheese factor and caves. The meal wasn't the best again as described by others and there wasn't any veggie option if needed!
It was a great introduction to the landscapes and some of the island's history. It's all rather rushed, and it's time to enjoy the lovely villages of the island. Most travellers have endured the the farm visits like goat and Succulent farms of Aloe vera and to much time is spent here offer enjoying the landscapes of the island. The guied was knowledgeable about the island but brushed aside any concerns about the lack of alternatives for those folk who like to eat ethical or have health issues. The provided lunch of all meat dishes of chicken soil, and chicken dinner was OK if you eat meat. As a none drinker lunch is one piece of dry bread and water. Lucky I've been a Diabetic for many years so can take these challengers head on. But being in the sun and having many walking period does burn up sugars. This fact was told to Tui and no remedy was offered. Very poor which spoils the enjoyable day sight seeing. Maybe it's the fact it is a 3* holiday and the attention to the individual isn't part of This business plan

It felt like a very long day .... yet rushed. It took nearly 2 hours to complete the hotel pick-ups. All the way from Corralejo down to Morro Jable! Hot long and we were told not to eat or drink on the very full coach. The other people on the tour seemed to be in their 70s and 80s (apart from 1 other) The places we stopped were fab but at each stop it was 15mins for 1, 20mins another etc. It does not state this in the schedule as where it says 1hour visit and 2hour etc you are still getting on and off the coach so doesn't reflect the actual schedule! Getting a full coach of pensioners on and off a coach 8 or 9 times was no mean feat! I would loved to have been at Santa Maria Church longer as we had barely enough time to get a drink. In fact I would have lived to have stayed at many of the stops longer and feel if the pickup stops were not as far apart we could have. Lunch wad at 2.40 (from 8.15 pickups we were starving) a good lunch tho. The tour rep really wasn't so pleasant. She was just going through the motions and wanted to smoke at each stop rather than engage. Not a great tour but we know where we will visit on a bus maybe next time rather than book a tour.

We booked this tour through the TUI website and we're really pleased we did. pick up was about 5 minutes walk from hotel, ensuring you do not stop at every hotel . Coach seats are comfy and mist importantly the windows were clean.Right from the start the guide Roger was really informative and friendly. At each stone explained what was good to see and also where the toilets were. First stop was a goat farm with tastings of cheese, jam and honey rum. We then went to Ajuy caves, which was a long dangerous in places walk. We needed more time here as as soon as you got to the caves, you had to turn around and get back, but worth the walk. Then on to Pjara and Betancuria. In Betancuria it is worth visiting the church, which is us 2 euros, but worth it. The museum is worth a visit as not only is it free, but it has a free toilet. Lunch was very late, which is a downside to trip. It consisted of Canadian soup, which was delicious, followed by chicken and the let down was a child's tub of ice cream, with no flavour at all.. last stop was an aloe Vera outlet with demonstration and sample of wine. We didn't listen to the talk as seen before, but Instead wandered around admiring the scenery. The coach driver impressed us by washing the coach whilst waiting. On the way back the people on first in the morning were off first in the evening, making it fairer for travel time. Would really recommend this tour and us a bargain at the price compared to some other tours.

Disappointed The tour guide didn’t seem interested Didn’t like the selling aspect of this tour ie goats cheese and aloe Vera although the talk on the aloe Vera plant was very informative What I didn’t like was the lunch and the enforced all sitting together with people you don’t know not everyone wants this !

The guide was very knowledgable, and the coach driver was very familiar with his route, which gave us some confidence on some of the very narrow roads. The first hour was nearly taken up with collecting other passengers. The visit to the goat farm for sampling was nothing more than a sales pitch for cheese and other products, although you could walk around some of the buildings. The visit to the caves was okay for those who were sure-footed, but we were told that it was quite a strenuous walk along a narrow path, which my partner was not keen on attempting. Lunch was included on the trip, which started with a very watery soup, followed by roast chicken leg. There was no vegetarian option available, so for lunch, I had some boiled potatoes, sliced tomatoes, and inedible coleslaw. Desert was a tub of something. Previous trips we had booked had a buffet lunch. The visit to the Aloe Vera 'Farm', was another sales opportunity, albeit an excellent talk on the plant and it's benefits. There was no farm tour. Highlights of the trip were the visit to the church, it required a €2 entry charge, but was worth it, and the stop for taking photos from a vantage point.
We had an excellent trip, Jane our guide was very knowledgeable and Fransisco our driver was very friendly too. Great tour to see more of the island. We all loved the day out.
