Dies ist nicht irgendeine Tour: Es ist eine einzigartige Gelegenheit, La Palma auf einer persönlich von Basso Lanzone, einem offiziellen Reiseführer mit langjähriger Erfahrung auf den Kanarischen Inseln, zusammengestellten Reiseroute zu entdecken. Jeder Halt wurde so ausgewählt, dass er die authentischsten und spektakulärsten Aspekte der Insel an einem einzigen Tag präsentiert. Wir beginnen mit einem Besuch der charmanten Hauptstadt Santa Cruz de La Palma mit ihren kolonialen Straßen, Holzbalkonen und ihrer einzigartigen Atmosphäre. Von dort steigen wir zum Aussichtspunkt La Cumbrecita im Nationalpark Caldera de Taburiente hinauf, um atemberaubende Ausblicke zu genießen. Der beeindruckendste Moment kommt in Tacande, wo wir uns dem Vulkan Tajogaite (Cumbre Vieja) nähern, der am 19. September 2021 entstand, und auf der aus Lava gebauten Straße weiterfahren. Sie werden die Kraft der Natur und das Gebiet, in dem ein ganzes Viertel verschwunden ist, mit eigenen Augen sehen.

Reiseverlauf
Die Fähre verlässt den Hafen von Los Cristianos um 8:30 Uhr in Richtung Santa Cruz de La Palma.
Der erste Halt ist in der Hauptstadt, wo Sie Freizeit haben (ca. 30 Minuten), damit Sie einige der emblematischsten Orte entdecken können, wie zum Beispiel: Das Schiff der Jungfrau, Es ist eine Reproduktion der Santa María, an Bord der Christoph Kolumbus Amerika entdeckte, und wurde in Erinnerung an die Palmensegler gebaut, die hier mit Segelbooten aus dem Holz unserer Berge abreisten. Im Inneren befindet sich das Marinemuseum mit Seekarten und Reproduktionen einiger dieser Schiffe, die auf der Insel hergestellt wurden. Die Burg von Santa Catalina, die eine der wichtigsten in Spanien auf dem Weg nach Amerika war. Die typischen Balkone, die zu den am besten erhaltenen Balkonen oder Überhängen auf den Kanarischen Inseln gehören. Heben Sie die doppelten Balkone hervor, die zur Belüftung der Häuser gebaut wurden.
Wir machen einen Halt, um diese geschützte Landschaft zu sehen und die Hauptstadt vom Krater des Vulkans La Caldereta aus zu beobachten.
Der nächste Halt ist in der Sperrzone des Viertels Tacande, wo Sie einen ersten Blick auf den Vulkan haben und dann nach Tazacorte fahren, um die jüngsten Lavaströme Spaniens zu sehen.
Wir halten am Aussichtspunkt Tajuya, um den am 19. September 2021 entstandenen Vulkan Cumbre Vieja zu beobachten, der bei seinem Ausbruch mehr als 1.000 Häuser zerstört hat. Dieser Ort wurde von der Presse aus aller Welt genutzt, um den letzten Ausbruch der Kanarischen Inseln festzuhalten.
Die Fähre legt um 17:00 Uhr von Santa Cruz de La Palma zum Hafen von Los Cristianos (Teneriffa) ab.

The weather wasn't the best on the day, but we still got some great views, particularly of the volcano and lava flow. We were going to have a coffee at a market but it was closed, and we were left to our own devices in a not particularly interesting part of the island while we waited for the bus to arrive. Also, where we stopped for lunch was just near a supermarket with not much to see. A good day out and I enjoyed it, but it could have been better.

A 9 km round walk, being the first part in descent to reach the closest part to the 5 craters that opened during the last eruption. Wonderful views and a blend of feelings between the sadness of destruction and the beauty of nature's struggle to stay alive in the ashes.

I took this tour in March 2025. The views were amazing. I had enough time to visit these beautiful places. I would recommend this tour to anyone.

Great day out despite the early start and a little sea sickness on the way. That was odd because the sea conditions both ways looked similar, but on the outbound journey we experienced significantly more movement of the ship. From then on all great: organisation, views, pace, guide, driver, bus and late lunch stop. Persuaded us to come back to la Palma for a much longer visit. One thing i did note was that the maximum participants was stated to be 59. Our trip had around 20 and I suspect that significantly more people would adversely impact the experience.

Definitely a super recommended experience to know a piece of the palm and what happened and the consequences of the Volcan Tajogaite, both the driver and the guide (Rosi) super friendly and open to any questions! We also enjoy a good meal with your good potatoes! Highly recommended!

Rosa our guide was very knowledgeable and concise. The tour and the emotion she conveyed made for a great tour. Would have liked more time in Santa Cruz and maybe seen where the lava flow actually reached the sea but maybe we may have missed other parts. Worth the trip.

On a day trip from Tenerife, the ferry schedules and the distances between the different areas of La Palma unfortunately force us to make choices. Adding more time in one place would inevitably mean leaving another important part of the itinerary out. For that reason, we try to create the best possible balance between the volcanic area, the landscapes, the history of the island and Santa Cruz within the time available. The volcano and all the lava. Amazed that it made so much damage to the surroundings. The guide was very good. She could talk 4 different languages. But 2 had been enough. But she explained very good what we saw and experienced during the trip.
