Von Portofino: Pasta- und Tiramisu-Kurs an der italienischen Riviera

Beschreibung

The location is remote, but Elisa and her husband were the PERFECT hosts!!! Quality of food was excellent and we truly enjoyed making an authentic, multi course, homemade Italian meal! Come hungry and prepared to cook— if we find ourselves in the region again, we would absolutely return to Elisa again!
Do not pass this up! We learned how to make a couple of different kinds of foccacia, a bunch of different kinds of ravioli, homemade tagliatelle and the best tiramisu ever. Our hostess had the most amazing home overlooking the Portofino harbor and had a beautiful yard and place to enjoy our day's endeavors. The pasta was made with eggs from her chickens, we tried limencello made from the lemons growing in her yard, she served us a delicious charcuterie and drinks while the pasta was cooking. A small group of 8 strangers and we all had the best time. Would absolutely do this every time I'm in Portofino.
My husband and I took this cooking class while celebrating our one-year wedding anniversary in Europe, and it completely exceeded our expectations. We were warmly welcomed into the home of the sweetest couple, and what was supposed to be a group class turned into a private one—just my husband and I—which made the evening even more intimate and special. From the beautifully set table and delicious appetizers waiting for us when we arrived, to learning how to make fresh pesto pasta from scratch, every detail was perfect. The food was incredible. We ate every bite. We enjoyed learning from them and sharing stories. Their home was beautiful. This is a memory we’ll cherish forever, and we can’t wait to recreate the dish at home for our families. Highly, highly recommend!
