Die Ramboda Falls sind 109 m hoch und der 11. höchste Wasserfall Sri Lankas und der 729. höchste Wasserfall der Welt. Es liegt in Pussellawa, an der Autobahn A5 am Ramboda Pass. Er wird von Panna Oya gebildet, einem Nebenfluss des Kothmale Oya. Die Höhe der Wasserfälle beträgt 945 m über dem Meeresspiegel.
Nuwara Eliya Post Office ist ein ikonisches Gebäude, das sich im Zentrum der Stadt Nuwara Eliya befindet. Dieses zweigeschossige rote Backsteingebäude im Tudor Revival-Architekturstil ist eines der ältesten Postämter des Landes. Im Jahr 2012 wurde das Obergeschoss des Gebäudes, das das Wohnquartier des Postmeisters war, in einen Beherbergungsbetrieb umgewandelt.
Oft als „Little England“ bezeichnet, hat diese sanftmütige Hochlandgemeinde mit ihren Bungalows aus der Kolonialzeit, Hotels im Tudorstil, gepflegten Hecken und hübschen Gärten eine roséfarbene, vage britische Landdorfatmosphäre. Tatsächlich war Nuwara Eliya einst die bevorzugte Flucht vor dem kühlen Klima für die fleißigen und trinkfreudigen englischen und schottischen Pioniere der Teeindustrie Sri Lankas.
Der Gregory-See, manchmal auch Gregory-See oder Gregory-Stausee genannt, ist ein Stausee im Herzen der Teeland-Hügelstadt Nuwara Eliya, Sri Lanka. Lake Gregory wurde während der Zeit des britischen Gouverneurs Sir William Gregory im Jahr 1873 gebaut. Der See und die Umgebung bilden die Gregory Lake Area.

We had an amazing 3 nights tour with Indika around Sri Lanka. We visited Kandy, Nuwara Eliya, Ella, Mirissa, and returned to Colombo. Indika was very friendly, helpful, and always made sure we were comfortable during the whole trip. He drove safely, explained many places to us, and helped us enjoy the beautiful scenery and attractions. The tour was well organized and stress-free. We made a trip with Indika from Kandy to Ambewela train station. Indika is an excellent driver. He got us tickets for the train to Ella and picked out the best seats for us on the train. Unfortunately, due to the low water level, it did not work out with a swim at the falls. We can recommend Indika without restriction. Thank you Indika

we had a great experience driving from Kandy to Ella! We stopped off for a lovely lunch by a waterfall. Would highly recommend.

Indika was a very good guide for us. He was very accommodating. His vehicles (tuktuk and car) were very comfortable. It was very nice and always ready to share with us its most beautiful spots and culture. We have a good memory of it. Thank you again.
