Der Ausflug zum Regenbogenberg (Vinicunca) ist ein unvergessliches Erlebnis, bei dem Natur und Abenteuer zusammenkommen. Die Tour beginnt mit der Abholung von Ihrem Hotel, die am Vortag bestätigt wird. Tägliche Abfahrten sind um 3:00, 4:00, 6:00 und 8:30 Uhr. Die Reise beinhaltet einen 2-stündigen Transfer südlich von Cusco nach Cusipata, wo das Frühstück serviert wird, und anschließend eine weitere Fahrt von 1 Stunde und 20 Minuten zum ländlichen Dorf Kayrawiri. Dort werden Anweisungen gegeben, bevor das Quad-Bike-Abenteuer (ATV) beginnt. Die ATV-Tour dauert 40 Minuten (4 km) hin und zurück, anschließend haben Sie 45 Minuten Zeit, den Rainbow Mountain zu besichtigen und zu genießen. Zum Schluss kehren wir zum Mittagessen nach Cusipata zurück und fahren dann weiter in die Stadt Cusco. Die Abfahrt um 8:30 Uhr beinhaltet weder Abholung noch Frühstück; Treffpunkt: Plaza Regocijo (8:20 Uhr).

We love it. The landscapes are amazing and the atv ride is very fun. Cesar, our guide, was very attentive. The biggest difficulty is the distance and the delay from Cusco, but it pays off.
Great experience, guide felt in a rush to get us up the mountain and down.
The tour was very good. We had a guide, Aníbal, who was very attentive and friendly. He explained everything to us in great detail and looked after us throughout the entire trip. The ATV experience was fine, although it is worth noting that everything is controlled (you cannot pass or go alone). So do not consider it an extreme sport, but rather a unique experience to go up to the mountain of colors.
I suggest going to the quad-cycle mountain. High altitude can cause headaches, tachycardia and shortness of breath. Very kind and solicitory guide.
For me, it was physically demanding being at high altitude at 5000 m is not easy for everyone. I would recommend taking altitude sickness medication’s, which I didn’t. The tour itself was outstanding, perfectly organized, the lunch and breakfast were top quality. Dani, our guide, was caring and attentive to all my needs. He bought me a bottle of water if he’s own expense when I ran out.! :) I highly recommend this store to everyone. The Rainbow Mountain is the second most popular attraction in Peru after Machu Picchu. It is a must visit place.!
THE GLOVES ARE SUPER SUPER NECESSARY AND IT'S BETTER IF THEY ARE DOUBLE. The tour starts very early in the morning and you will be on the bus for quite a while; the total time on the ATVs is 40 minutes. We liked it; we thought it was good because in the morning the weather and the ground are frozen, and using your hands is very cold. Very good and complete buffet breakfast and lunch!! I recommend taking the 3 AM tour so you don't have much traffic and have time in the mountains without too many people.
Super great day. Everything perfectly organized, the ATV ride was very safe and controlled. Only the food (breakfast and lunch were just okay, but that is usually the case with this type of day trip).
Rainbow mountain was great. Worth it to go up the harder way. The other views around rainbow mountain were beautiful. ATVs made it nice. Wish the ride was better though.
