Von Bordeaux : Saint Emilion Tagestour Essen und Wein

We went on a private tour with just the two of us and we had the most amazing day. We learned so much about the wine and area and had such a lovely time. Our tour was made all the more special as our guide Ismail, was absolutely amazing, so informative and patient - top class!! I would highly recommend the tour and our guide.

Fabulous day to explore the Bordeaux countryside and wine farms. The minibus was perfect and a lovely mix of only six people from across the world made the tour more intimate and personal. The tour guide was knowledgeable and engaging and gave us a lot of insight into the wine industry in Bordeaux. The two farms and one wine merchant were a good cross section and the tours were very informative with highly knowledgeable and enthusiastic guides. If you don’t have much time in Bordeaux, this is an ideal choice to get to know more the area. Highly recommended!

This was a last minute booking -- and we couldn't be happier with how it turned out. Thomas was a great guide, showing us not just good wines but also setting up several private tours during the harvest. This was a private tour for me and my Dad. Thomas did great managing our requests and showing us special parts of St. Emilion. He was warm, informed, and passionate about the region. Highly recommend.

The tour was fantastic and our guide Alan was truly amazing. I had some mobility problems on the steep, cobblestone streets but Alan made sure that I was safe. He is very knowledgeable about all aspects of the wine trade and also about the areas through which we traveled. A most enjoyable tour!

The tour on Ebikes in St Emilion was fantastic. Our rustic vines guide Matt was great, very knowledgeable on the area and the wine. We had never used Ebikes before and it was great fun. After about 5 minutes you understand why you need Ebikes:-). The country side around st Emilion is truly charming. The wine tastings were very informative and interesting. The guides in the chateaux did a great job. The group was made up of several nationalities which made the day even more interesting. Fantastic company. The lunch was very tasty. Recommended tour.

We had an enjoyable day touring St Emilion, stopping at both chateaus and a wine merchant for tastings. Our guide, Alan, gave us a well-paced day, and his lighthearted, easy going presentations increased our understanding and appreciation of the region. I would not hesitate to book another tour with Rustic Vines, especially with Alan as the guide.

My wife and I did the all day Famous Monk Tour of St Emilion with Rustic Vines today. Alan was our guide and he could not have been better. We live in the Bay Area of San Francisco and spend a fair amount of time in the wine regions of Napa and Sonoma valleys. French wines have always interested us, but we find their entire system perplexing and, therefore, we hardly ever purchase them. Alan untangled all of this for us and we're now ready to make French wines part of our regular dining experience. St Emilion is not only beautiful, but home to spectacular wines. And the food Rustic Vines includes with their tours was the perfect pairing to a great venue, great wines and great tour guide. Thank you Rustic Vines and thank you Alan!
