Dabei widmen wir uns dem Leben von Fritz Haarmann, den berühmt berüchtigten Serienmörder - auch Werwolf von Hannover genannt. Die Geschichte von Haarmann erreichte 1924 internationales Aufregen und wird selbst heute noch mit Hannover in Verbindung gebracht. - The tour is flat and has no stairs. There are however some cobblestone streets. People in wheelchairs are welcome to join the tour.

This was a mix between a sight seeing city tour and a serial killer biography. The guide was knowledgeable and funny. It did help that the weather was nice (25 degrees). One tip for anyone who would like to attend. Tripadvisor has this all wrong. The tour is in German only! Working (passive) knowledge of German is absolutely required.
I booked the tour in English but when going at the meeting point I found out it is German only. Very disappointed as it was my only night in Hannover. Tried calling the given phone number but no answer. Still waiting for the refund after 4 days.
Hello there, please kindly notice, that the given tour is only bookable in German. The phone-number is for emergency-only and not for refunds, because this is not managed by us tour operators and instead by viator. Also because of spam, we have not accepted the jordanian number calling and also that the refund was already accepted. As the tour was never visited, the review is not valid.
It was a very interesting tour. The story about Hamann was explained clearly and well. The guide was very friendly, I can highly recommend the tour!
In Hannover in December many shops, and quite a few markets. It is not a city with much interest since it was destroyed in World War II. We settled next to the station and from there we went to Hamelin, Celle, and Wunstorf with the S line. And to Goslar and Bremen by regional. Marienburg Castle closed in December. You can go to more places but in the end we didn't have time: Huldesheim, Wolksburg, etc., but since we didn't know what the weather was going to be... We were lucky and it only snowed for 3 hours and from time to time some chirimiri but without an umbrella .
Today we did the tour with Mr Müller, it was one of the best tours we have ever had. Meega expertise, very easy to understand and brought across with dedication. Such a pleasant voice to listen to....I would have liked to have had earlier as a teacher...🤣 And the icing on the cake we also had...there was kinship of Fritz there....yes real kinship, at this point a lovely greeting.All in all highly recommended Thanks Hanni and Dirk
In Hanover I was on business. Busy all day, only in the evenings off. Therefore, this tour is a great opportunity to see the sights of Hanover and dive a little into the past and get to know the history of the city and its inhabitants.

Was really fun to walk in the inner city of Hannover and learn more about the dark history. Our guide explained the facts very well, was super friendly and could answer our questions.
Our guide was friendly and knowledgeable about Fritz Haarmann and the Hannover history. He shared pictures of Fritz, his associates, and Hannover from back in the 1920's. He told the history well. Although our tickets said English Guide, the guide was not expecting an English only tour. But he did well with his English. Note that the tour does not end where it starts.
