Old Corner Bookstore: Der 1718 erbaute Old Corner Bookstore befindet sich im ältesten Geschäftsgebäude in der Innenstadt von Boston. Dieser Verlag aus dem 19. Jahrhundert veröffentlichte mehrere berühmte amerikanische Klassiker.
Diese ehemalige puritanische Kirche wurde 1729 erbaut und war fast drei Jahrhunderte lang ein Treffpunkt.
Das Old State House aus dem Jahr 1713, umgeben von modernen Gebäuden, scheint in der Zeit stehengeblieben zu sein. Am 18. Juli 1776 wurde auf diesem Balkon der Text der Unabhängigkeitserklärung der Vereinigten Staaten verlesen.
Vor diesem öffentlichen Gebäude eröffnete 1770 ein Geschwader der britischen Armee das Feuer und tötete fünf Bostoner. Dieser Vorfall wurde als Boston-Massaker bezeichnet.

Quincy Market, 1824, ein ehemaliger Markt, heute ein Food Court, eine Gasse voller Stände und Geschäfte, ein wahres architektonisches Juwel.
Ältestes Restaurant der Vereinigten Staaten (1826) in einem historischen Gebäude (1704). Der zukünftige König von Frankreich, Louis-Philippe, lebte in diesem Haus in einer bescheidenen Wohnung im zweiten Stock.
Hinter dem Bostonian Hotel gibt es mehrere alte Fußgängerzonen. Der Blackstone-Block steht auf der National List of Historic Places.
Das North End, im wahrsten Sinne des Wortes der nördliche Bezirk, ist eines der ältesten Viertel in Boston.
Das Paul Revere House, 1676 – eines der letzten Überreste der Kolonialzeit. Der berühmte Revolutionär lebte dort von den 1780er bis 1800er Jahren.
Die historische Fußgängerzone zu Ehren des berühmten Midnight Ride (1775)
Die erste Kirche im North End wurde 1650 an dieser Stelle erbaut. Während der gesamten Kolonialzeit war sie die einflussreichste Kirche im Nordosten und eine Hochburg des puritanischen Glaubens.
Copp's Hill wurde 1632 errichtet und ist der höchste Punkt im North End von Boston. Auf der Spitze dieses Hügels befindet sich ein alter Friedhof aus dem Jahr 1659. Von Copps Hill Terrace aus können Sie ein herrliches Panorama auf den Charles River sowie den Bunker Hill Obelisk und die USS Constitution am gegenüberliegenden Ufer bewundern.
This guided tour was great… Maria walked us along Boston's Freedom Trail with a small group of French people, all equipped with earpieces allowing us to follow her even from a distance while listening to all her commentary on the different sites, but especially on the entire history of Boston. A beautiful 2.5-hour walk through this beautiful city at a pleasant pace to enjoy the sites. Do not hesitate if you wish to discover Boston along this path crossing the city…

It is a real comfort to be able to grasp everything in nuances, ask questions and exchange freely. Maria knows Boston at her fingertips and knows how to interest everyone. I myself was with high school students, they learned a lot and appreciated Maria’s informed comments. An incredible walk along the path to freedom and through the picturesque neighborhoods of Beacon Hill and Back Bay. She knows how to show you secret places and transports us into the rich 17th century history of Boston. I highly recommend it.
