Saw so many exotic birds thanks to Dauren who has 32 years of experience birding. We saw two kinds of toucans and had a delicious breakfast at the oasis.
We saw many cool birds and sloths.. the guide knew a LOT about birds. Greater curasow ,tiger heron ,whistling ducks, parakeets. Breakfast was good.
100/10!! Bird watchers that are unfamiliar with the area and local species this is a MUST. Pick up was very easy. Our guide Dauren was far and away one of the most talented bird guides of all time. It’s about 2 1/2 hours of straight birding and we got to see about 50 different species of birds. Not to mention a 3 toed sloth, howler monkeys, and poison dart frogs. Breakfast was great and there were options for everyone, including gluten free. Juice coffee fruit and a main. All the while you get to watch a plethora of birds feed on local fruit. A mot mot actually stood on our table to eat a piece of scrambled eggs. Very enjoyable highly recommend.
Great tour. I got to see some species i hadn't seen before which is always nice. Both the guide and driver were great. It's a shame more people don't book this tour. But it worked out for me as I had a private tour.
Our guide was very knowledgeable and taught us a lot about birds and vegetation! He asked us if we wanted to find a specific type of bird and worked to do his best to ensure we would see one, which we did! Breakfast in front of the bird feeders was a perfect way to end the tour! Would definitely recommend !
Pura vida!! We truly appreciate your recommendation and hope to welcome you all back for another adventure soon!
Thank you very much to our Mercedes guide for this magical experience! Beautiful discoveries of new species with joy and good humor.
Merci beaucoup pour ce beau retour ! Nous espérons avoir le plaisir de vous accueillir à nouveau pour d'autres aventures inoubliables !
As a seasoned and very enthusiastic bird photographer I was delighted to find this tour company. I had a fantastic early morning bird tour starting with a courtesy pick up in a spotless vehicle driven by Geraldo, accompanied by Jaime. Both spoke excellent English and were incredibly knowledgeable about birds. They really listened to what I was interested in and took me to places where we might find harder to spot species. It was a great success and we ended with a delicious, well earned breakfast. I highly recommend them!
Thank you very much for visiting us, super satisfied with your visit, we hope to have you again soon! ¡Pura Vida!
Aron was an excellent and flexible guide, and had an amazing ear for identifying birds. We had a great time on this tour, pleasing for everyone from experienced to new birders. Only 4 on the trip, and we went to multiple stops, wherever the birds could be found. Saw everything from a Keel-billed toucan to a pair of Barred Antshrikes and a crew of Scarlet-thighed Dacnis. The trip ended with breakfast in front of birdfeeders, where Crested Guans joined us for a meal. I would have liked for it to be a longer trip, but otherwise, highly recommended.
Woww, Thank you for such a good comment, for us it´s really important to know your experience. Regards,
Jaime knew his birds well, and did a great job of both showing us the local specialties and grabbing our attention when something really unusual (locally) turned up (Shining Honeyeater). He also knew the local fauna better: I should have let him know at the beginning that I’m into everything from frogs to sloths, as he was able to show us both a sloth and some of the strawberry poison dart frogs (locally known as “blue jeans frogs”).
Thank you very much for your feedback, we are happy to hear about your experience during our tour. Thank you very much for your visit and you´ll be always welcome here.!
Our guide Jaime Guzman had a super knowledge of the local area and took us to spots where there was a huge number of early birds flying around food sources. We visited a number of locations with a wide variety of species. The included breakfast was delicious and there were bird feeders to watch while you ate. He also took us on a couple of short hikes to habitats to look for different species. Highly recommended tour and tour guide.
