What an amazing morning visiting and photographing spectacular scenery around Glenorchy. Glen was super friendly and provided brilliant advice on how to capture truely beautiful photos. As a novice photographer with a new camera, I greatly appreciated Glen’s expertise, patience and willingness to teach. I finished the tour with some amazing shots and far more confidence in using my new camera (no longer just on Auto mode!). I’d definitely love to do another tour in the future. Thank you Glen!

Glen is a passionate photographer who has organised fantastic locations. He is very knowledgeable about this area. Glen is also flexible making some special stops depending on the conditions.

I started this tour feeling worried because I didn’t have a professional camera—just my iPhone, which I usually use for photos. Glen immediately reassured me that it wasn’t an issue at all and that he could guide me in making the most out of it. Glen is absolutely amazing. He’s warm, kind, and incredibly easy to talk to. There were no awkward moments during the drive to Glenorchy, where the shoot took place. Along the way, he shared tips on photography in such a natural and engaging way—it felt more like a conversation than a lesson, which made it easy to learn without feeling overwhelmed. Even though it was only a half-day tour, it was more than enough to help me understand how to fully utilize what I have and improve the way I take photos. He also had a well-thought-out itinerary. It wasn’t rigid, but he made sure we covered key locations and timed everything so we could experience and capture truly spectacular views. If I hadn’t taken this tour, I would have never witnessed such a stunning sky—the way it shifted into deep reds, oranges, and other colors was unforgettable. Apparently, that day was something special. Glen clearly puts a lot of thought into timing and location, and you can really see his passion for photography. It doesn’t feel like he’s just doing this as a job—he genuinely loves what he does, and that passion comes through in the entire experience. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone, whether you’re using a professional camera or just your phone.

If you get the chance to participate in on of Glen's tours - do it! This was one of my highlights during my trip in New Zealand. Never been so happy to get up way before dawn ;) Glen is so knowledgeable and an excellent teacher. It's amazing to see that he still get's excited about the Glenorchy area that he's seen so many times. I loved the many short stops we took when the light was hitting the scenery just right. The morning went by so quickly and I had an absolute blast.

Such a great workshop experience - Glen showed us some amazing spots and the photos we took are incredible. He's super passionate about Glenorchy and even gave me some LOTR film intel. I learned a fair bit about my camera, and gained a lot more confidence using a tripod. Would highly highly recommend!

Glen is a great photographer, willing to help make suggestions . He has great stories about the area and alters the tour based on weather conditions so you get great shots come rain, cloud or shine! He kindly accepted my non-phitographer cousin to join at half price! Lovely time, I'd highly recommend this tour
