Reiseverlauf

First and foremost, the food! ❤️ Our tour guide, Mark, curated the most delightful selection of dishes that gave us such a wonderful taste of New Orleans! Every stop was delicious, but what made the experience truly special was Mark himself. He was incredibly knowledgeable about the food and culinary culture of New Orleans, but went above and beyond by teaching us about the history, traditions, and Southern culture woven into the city’s food. Mark was personable, engaging, and clearly passionate about sharing his city with others. A delicious little journey through the heart and history of New Orleans 👍🏻👍🏻
I’ve been to New Orleans many times. I still learned so much about local food history on this tour. Tour guide Addie was the best and took us to some of the best local restaurants and shops off the beaten path. Overall, I highly recommend this tour!
New Orleans is the kind of place where you can always learn more information, especially when it comes to its food! We're happy to hear you had such a great time with your guide, and the restaurants she took you too.
We had a great time! Our guide was very knowledgeable about the area passionate about the food
Thank you! Glad you had such a good time and enjoyed the guide and food!
Adelai was great--able to really tailor the speaking points to our interests and the entire afternoon was full of surprises and delights!
So glad you had such a good time! Adelai really is a masterclass in touching on points of interests our guests have; so happy you got to experience that!
We had a great experience. The food was great and the guide was friendly and knowledgeable. He was very engaging we felt like we made a new friend around great food!
Fantastic! That's one of the benefits of the small groups, it really does give you an opportunity to make friends with your guide, and even fellow guests!
This was a great experience! Lots of great food and drink. Adelai gave us a look into the culture and stories behind the food. Truly enjoyed.
Glad you enjoyed your time with Adelai. She's someone who loves to see people fed and to share our culture with everyone.
Loved the classic food items mixed in with new takes, making it a unique food tour. Learned a lot about cooking techniques as well as some cultural history of the city. Lots of food - I'm still full the next day!
Glad we could send you away full! We're also glad you enjoyed learning about the cooking techniques utilized throughout the city!
Great tour with Mark! Learned a lot about the area and the food, and everything was delicious! Still thinking about the final dish.
Glad the food has stuck with you since the tour in such a great way! It really is true, too, that you can learn about the history and culture of a place through its food.
My wife and I have done a handful of food tours. This was easily the best food tour we have done! Tylyn was an amazing guide for us. He knew so much history and knowledge of all of the places we went, on all kinds of food, and history of just New Orleans in general. He was very attentive, he gave us great recommendations, and really made this tour experience a memorable one. This is also not your average food tour. Most food tours will give you very little samples at all of your stops. This food tour made sure to actually feed us and gave us excellent portion sizes at every place we went. We started this food tour very hungry, and ended it feeling full. This was an amazing food tour that I cannot recommend enough!
We're glad you had such an amazing time with Tylyn! We aim to make sure the food tour is appropriately filling - both for food and for the historical information, so it's wonderful to hear you had such a great experience!
Even though this is listed as a walking tour, you don’t walk that far. The street that the tour is located on has shopping when you’re finished. All the food options were different and very good. All the restaurants we stopped at on the tour were organized and ready for us. And our tour guide was absolutely wonderful. He was polite, professional, and knew his history. I would definitely recommend this tour. It was one of the best tours we went on in New Orleans..
Thank you so much for the review! Means so much to us. It’s been over a decade now that we have been offering this tour and it’s been our most requested. We’re so happy you enjoyed. Thank for supporting locally owned small businesses.
