Amazing place to visit! Nice way to enjoy an artist’s views on n designing themed rooms! Went to see local artist Chad Mize event for his new unveiling of work. Great event, music was perfect and the social was fun!
A delightful piece to the St. Petersburg Art Culture...kid friendly (young and old kids). Easy to get around with rollators and strollers. An indoor wonderland of whimsy. Kudos to the front desk staff who are utterly delightful and set the tone for fun time.
Visited FloridaRAMA on Memorial Day looking for a fun indoor escape from the Florida heat, and it was a great pick. This is a quirky, tongue-in-cheek love letter to (and gentle poke at) Florida culture, with immersive themed rooms, funky visuals, and lots of fun photo opportunities. My favorite area was the local artist/graffiti-inspired space, which felt especially connected to St. Pete’s creative energy. The motel-themed section was also a lot of fun and perfectly captured that kitschy old Florida vibe. I was also mildly amused (and maybe a little surprised 😄) to discover they serve alcohol, and their gift shop being named “The Tourist Trap” absolutely fits the sense of humor of the whole place. One of the unexpected things we really enjoyed was the scavenger hunt element woven into the experience. Having little things to look for along the way made it more interactive and added a fun extra layer beyond just walking through the exhibits. I will say I expected a bit more actual art and a bit less emphasis on photo-op installations, but overall I’m still really glad we went. If you enjoy offbeat attractions, immersive experiences, or just want something fun to do indoors in St. Petersburg, it’s definitely worth adding to your list.
This was such a fun family experience (kids 13, 10, 7). We could have spent even more time there. We did three scavenger hunts and they were so much fun (although we ended up circling back around because we didn’t full pay attention to all of them from the start)! Even if you opt not to do them, there are so many interesting things to look at. Created by awesome artists. For those who like photo ops, there are so many fun ones, for those not interested, it’s so fun to just go through art installations. The pool area and center are just nice sitting areas to take it all in. And the felt! ♥️. Admission price worth it. Staff was helpful when we needed help on the scavenger hunt. Went on a Saturday and was not crowded. Afterwards we drove like two blocks to golfology and walked to lunch at Bayboro Brewing!
I think this is a cute place if you really want to support artists. It is unusual, for sure. In my opinion, it was overpriced. It is "no-cash" but then you get charged a convenience fee for credit cards. It is a very small place, so don't expect to spend much time there. Most teenagers will be bored. The scavenger hunt was not worth it in my opinion.
Visited this Museum 3/18/26 @ around 12:30pm The museum was fine but there was an incident in the gift shop leaving. My son tripped and reached out to brace himself on a shelf that was not secured. The shelf fell down and landed on some art covered in plastic that was filed in like they were records below the shelf. The guy at the register ran over and was freaking out over the art the shelf landed on ignoring the possibility that my son could of been seriously hurt. He never looked at me or my son and only showing concern over his precious gift shop art. He mumbles we need a manager out here over and over. Someone does come out but they look awkward and leave. Then a lady comes out and does not talk to me either. The register guy that is mumbling about his art proceeds to charge me full price for 2 of the art works. Since my 2 sons and wife are with me i end up storing all the rage inside and paying for the art which cost me $75. Yes i could of just left. Yes i could have made a huge scene but i decided not to flip out in front of my family. Take this review for what it is.
Went with my two adult daughters. We loved it! We did the Flower Power scavenger hunt and the birthday one. Some very talented people put this thing together, some of the arts is really tripping but so cool! There is a lot of stuff to look and marvel at, my personal favorite was the Lucy Sparrow store that looked like a real little store but everything is made from felt! You can actually buy the items, SO cool! People of all ages will enjoy coming here, I asked a mom with her two small children how they liked it and they loved it! I can imagine some kids might get a little weirded out by some of the stuff they see but all in all a really fun experience for all!
Had a great time! It was fun we did the PEPE scavenger hunt made it more of an adventure!!
Been wanting to go to this interactive art exhibit for a while and it was better than expected. The art that is in each of the rooms is totally amazing and very well done. The Lucy Sparrow exhibit was a great addition. Her art is truly incredible and looks exactly like the item she is replicating. Highly recommend
This is my second time here and it was just as fun as the first! This is where I chose to go for my birthday both times! I bring my teenage kids with me and they love it too! It’s an unusual and quirky place full of unique artwork and innovative use of materials. It’s fun and quirky and sort of makes your brain explode! This time, the Sugar Rush felt grocery store was open and we were floored at how realistic the items made of felt looked and the craftsmanship! The addition of the scavenger hunts and mini golf are great and the gift shop is awesome! Attached is the best record store and more art and artists to explore. It makes my weird heart happy! Definitely recommend!
