Ab dem Zeitpunkt des Treffens gibt Ihnen der Führer einen Einblick in die Geschichte dieser Renaissance-Stadt und wie diese unglaubliche kulturelle Bewegung der Renaissance nicht nur Florenz, sondern schließlich auch den Rest Europas verändert hat. Der Führer beginnt mit der Piazza Della Republica, dem Hauptplatz von Florenz, der das Zentrum der Stadt markiert. Nach einem kleinen Gespräch über die Geschichte und die Veränderungen der Piazza Republica seit ihrer Entstehung gehen Sie direkt zum wunderbaren Kunstwerk, der Piazza Della Duomo. Wenn Sie am Domplatz vorbei gehen, führt Sie der Führer direkt durch die alten Gebäude und einige der historischen Wahrzeichen von Florenz zum Palazzo Vecchio, wo sich die Davids Skulptur (das Original befindet sich in der Galleria dell'Accademia) von Michelangelo außerhalb des Palazzo befindet Vecchio als Symbol für den Widerstand der Republik gegen die tyrannischen Medici.

We were sent a notice about one hour before the tour that our tour had been cancelled. And a full refund would be coming. I asked for a confirmation that a return was coming and there was Zero response. Very unprofessional.

Walking tour. Headphones made it very easy to hear the guide. Small group was a nice way to learn about the town. However I felt it concentrated very much on the religious features of Florence, which, while of some interest, was certainly not my only interest. If you didn’t have a knowledge of Christianity you would be wasting your time.
