Dieser historische Ort ist voller unheimlicher Geschichten aus seiner Zeit als Gefängnis im Unabhängigkeitskrieg. Der Kerker darunter beherbergt die ruhelosen Geister der Gefangenen, und es wird von körperlosen Stimmen und plötzlichen Kälteflecken an der Außenseite berichtet.
Das F.W. Wagner-Gebäude war einst eine geschäftige Apotheke, ist heute aber für seine unheimlichen Vorkommnisse bekannt. Besucher haben berichtet, dass sie geisterhafte Gestalten in den Fenstern gesehen und geisterhafte Schritte durch die Hallen hallen gehört haben.

Poogan’s Porch ist ein beliebtes Restaurant mit einer gespenstischen Vergangenheit und wurde nach einem Hund benannt, der einst auf dem Grundstück herumstreunte. Es ist jedoch der Geist von Zoe, einer ehemaligen Bewohnerin, die angeblich immer noch auf der Veranda erscheint und nach ihrer Schwester sucht.

We had a group of high school grads who wanted to do a ghost tour. This one was perfect. Our tour guide gave us some amazing history mixed well with spooky stories. She did really well with these crazy girls and kept their attention with entire time, which is quite a feat with them. Would highly recommend if you’re looking for a great spooky, informative tour.

The tour was fun and the guide did an amazing job! She really brought the stories to life with her knowledge of Charleston, its history and interesting anecdotes. Who knew the first liquor store, during prohibition no less, can still be identified with its “special markings” on the outside. The tour was a lot of fun and I highly recommend!

The tour was great! Our tour guide was personable and knowledgeable. We had an EMF detector that constantly lit up and indicating a presence nearby. This added to the experience. I would highly recommend this tour.

A fun tour and guide. Knowledgeable about the toured areas, buildings and walks. Modestly challenging walk, but totally doable for the ADA needs. We would’ve remembered any uphills because those hurt. None that we remember. A good time was had from the very beginning, meeting at a bar. CritDicks

Awesome guide. Made sure everyone could hear. Fun facts!! Easy walk through downtown. Only downside is so many other guides and tours on same path. They were a bit loud so distracting. Nobody’s fault but a lot of buildings with scaffolding so tough to see. Graveyard areas super spooky and interesting to learn about. Perry was truly an excellent guide even though he was a buckeye fan. lol. Ps: tour takes about 1 hour and 20 minutes, not an hour.

The location is great. The place is amazing. The only complaint I have is the parking. Because we booked through Vacasa, we were told we could use valet parking. Parking in the garage across the street is $48 a day.
