We had such a great time on the Foodies Bucket List Walking Tour. Colleen was a fantastic guide—so engaging and genuinely welcoming, she made our whole group feel comfortable from the start. Each stop offered something special, with spectacular food across all the venues. It felt really well thought out and beautifully paced. The Foodies Bucket List tour was the PERFECT food tour! We were lucky enough to be guided by This Is Melbourne's owner and had a truly wonderful time. The length of the tour, variety of stops, and snippets about the history of Melbourne were all fantastic! We really felt like we got a great peek into the culture of the city, saw amazing sights, and ate wonderful food. We were given a bunch of ideas for other restaurants to visit and returned to a few tour stops for more. I only wish we'd had more time in the city to eat a dozen more meals! Learning about a city through its food is the best way to travel, especially when you can land on the local favorites and hidden gems that this tour specialises in. The only (slight) bummer was that we had a little trouble receiving our post-tour info due to some technical glitches with messages going through Tripadvisor. If I could do it again, I'd just book directly through the tour operator and would recommend others do so as well.

We thoroughly enjoyed this food walking tour. Martina was a super guide. She was warm, genuine, enthusiastic, and generously shared he knowledge of Melbourne and the eating scene. She gave us lots of recommendations for our upcoming days in Melbourne. We enjoyed every bite at every venue. She had curated a nice variety of venues.

Andrew provided excellent instructions for finding the meeting point, which made the start of the tour very easy. The tour itself involved quite a bit of walking, along with a tram ride. Aside from the chocolate at the beginning and the gelato at the end, most of the tastings were seated experiences in various restaurants. We appreciated the chance to sample different cuisines—dishes we likely wouldn’t have tried on our own—even if the flavors didn’t quite match our personal preferences. Overall, we enjoyed the tour, especially the historical insights and the opportunity to taste a variety of foods.

We had a wonderful tour with Colleen. It turned out that my husband and I were the only people on the tour, so Colleen was able to give us a lot of information about Melbourne's history, the architecture, and unique sites, along with the wonderful tastings we would have never found otherwise. A great experience that we highly recommend.

A wonderful way to get to know a city. We had heard that has a good food culture. Melbourne delivered totally. We were a group of 3 and our guide Coleen hade time to answer all of our questions. The food at our stops was excellent and Coleen pointed out many restaurants along the way that my wife and i were interested in visiting during our remaining time in Melbourne. Our guide Coleen had a good knowledge of the city and pointed out many places of interest. In our opinion it is good to start any visit to a city with a personal guided tour. You get insights into the city that you don't get in a brochure or bus tour. The price of the tour was not the cheapest on offer, however 4 hours was a good amount of time to spend looking around and we felt we really got value for our money. We would warmly recommend this walking tour to anybody visiting Melbourne.
