Dublin Castle wurde Anfang des 13. Jahrhunderts an der Stelle einer Wikingersiedlung errichtet und diente Jahrhunderte als Sitz der englischen und später britischen Verwaltung in Irland. Nach der Unabhängigkeit Irlands wurde Dublin Castle 1922 der neuen irischen Regierung übergeben. Es ist jetzt ein bedeutender Regierungskomplex und eine wichtige Touristenattraktion.
Das Rathaus wurde zwischen 1769 und 1779 erbaut. Der Bau dauerte zehn Jahre. Als sie beschlossen, das Rathaus zu bauen, wurde ein Wettbewerb ausgeschrieben und es wurden 62 Einsendungen eingereicht. Der Gewinner dieses Wettbewerbs war der junge Londoner Architekt Thomas Cooley. Zu dieser Zeit wäre James Gandon der Hauptarchitekt in Dublin gewesen, aber seine Entwürfe wurden Zweiter im Wettbewerb. Thomas Cooley wurde auch für den Bau der Vier Gerichte ausgeschrieben. Im Alter von 44 Jahren erkrankte er und starb, und so wurde James Gandon der Hauptarchitekt im Gebäude der Vier Gerichte.

Bevor die Ha'penny-Brücke gebaut wurde, gab es sieben Fähren, die von William Walsh über die Liffey betrieben wurden. [2] Die Fähren waren in einem schlechten Zustand und Walsh wurde informiert, dass er sie entweder reparieren oder eine Brücke bauen musste. This is the 2nd time that Fab has taken photos for us. Both times we had a great experience. I don't like taking selfies so this was a good way to get great looking photos and enjoy the whole photo-taking experience. Definitely put this on your Dublin "to-do" list. My husband and I have used some of Fab's photos to make our holiday cards, Christmas ornaments, photo albums, collages. If we go back to Dublin, I would have do another photo shoot for. He's very accommodating professional, and makes the entire experience enjoyable.

Fab was great, he made my wife and I feel comfortable and helped us get some great pictures. He was also very personable and gave us a mini history lesson of Ireland. Plus the pictures turned out great.
