Reiseverlauf

We had an amazing time on our tour! Our guide, Ago, was great. He was very passionate and could answer any question very elaborately. The sites were both interesting and beautiful. This is a great opportunity to learn more about the county’s and city’s history and current state.
We absolutely loved our experience with Meet Bosnia Tours. While their pre-tour communication may not have been quite as detailed as what we experienced with another agency on the Serbian side of our trip, once we started using their services, they proved to be incredibly reliable, prompt, flexible, and professional. They were actually a lifesaver during our trip. We had originally booked a transfer tour from Sarajevo to Montenegro with another agency, but it was unexpectedly cancelled just one day before departure. When I contacted Meet Bosnia at almost the last minute, Aisha at the Sarajevo office immediately reassured us and took care of everything. Within about 20 minutes, our new transfer was completely confirmed! A very special shout-out to Aisha for being so responsive and helpful when we really needed it. We ended up using Meet Bosnia for four different services during our trip: • A half-day Sarajevo and Tunnel of Hope tour with a wonderful young guide who was enthusiastic, engaging, and extremely good at what he does. • A Sarajevo walking tour with Armina, who was incredibly knowledgeable and genuinely passionate about sharing Bosnia, its history, culture, and stories with us. • Our Serbia-to-Sarajevo transfer with Senad, who was so much more than just a driver. He was also a fantastic guide and made the journey interesting and enjoyable. • And finally, our very last-minute Sarajevo-to-Montenegro transfer with Armin, which Meet Bosnia arranged for us when our original plans unexpectedly fell apart. Armin was prompt, reliable, and communicated with us very well throughout the journey, making what could have been a stressful situation smooth and worry-free. What impressed us most was that every person we met through the agency was warm, knowledgeable, and genuinely cared about giving us a great experience. After traveling throughout the Balkans and dealing with several different tour and transfer companies, Meet Bosnia really stood out for their reliability, flexibility, and quality of their people. We would happily use them again and highly recommend them to anyone traveling in Bosnia or around the Balkans!
From the pre tour messaging and organisation to the actual tour, this trip was excellent. I learned so much about the history of and complexities of Bosnia. Very highly recommended if you are in town! I forget our guides name but she was extremely knowledgeable and obviously passionate about her country and her people. She made the tour.
We had a fantastic trip with a lot of history about Bosnia and the war. Can be recommended, the guide spoke fluent English and was open to questions from us tourists. Had a lot of knowledge about the country.
Thanks to our guide for this very enriching afternoon. She shared her experience during the war with us. It is a very important visit to understand what the inhabitants of Sarajevo lived through.
Beautiful experience, interesting and educational
A tour of the most essential. Our guide explained in detail the interesting and complicated recent history of this country. Fully recommended to understand minimally what happened in this area. Timeliness and seriousness of service.
We discovered this tour by going on the free walking tour a few days beforehand. Both tours were phenomenal. This tour was a half day tour which gave us a better understanding of the past conflicts in Sarajevo and Bosnia. We saw some of the everlasting effects of the conflict. Our guide gave us firsthand accounts of his family’s experience during the siege. We came away with a better understanding of the struggles the Sarajevo residents went through during that tumultuous time. We also were able to book luggage storage and our return trip to the airport through Meet Bosnia. We can’t say enough about this company! They made our trip to Sarajevo special.
I overslept the 9am tour and still the company let me joint the 2pm tour with was very informative. The bus had ac and the guide was amazing
Armin was a marvellous guide. His English was exemplary. He was so knowledgable and hearing elements from his family’s circumstances added another layer of understanding and insight. It was just the right balance of chat, discussion and activity. Please pass on thanks to him personally.
