- Bei allen Anmietungen ist als Kaution ein gültiger Personalausweis oder ein gültiger Ausweis erforderlich: 250 $ Kaution für einen einzelnen Mieter und 100 $ pro Person für zwei oder mehr Mieter. Bei der Rückgabe der Fahrräder wird die Kaution innerhalb von 24 Stunden auf die Karte zurückerstattet und der Ausweis wird zurückgegeben.
- Altersanforderung: Sie müssen über 18 Jahre alt sein, um zu mieten. Wenn Sie 18 oder jünger sind, muss ein Elternteil oder Erziehungsberechtigter das Formular zur Haftungsfreistellung unterschreiben.
- Einzahlungsdetails: Für alle Vermietungen ist ein gültiger US-Ausweis, ausländischer Pass oder Kreditkarte für Kautionen akzeptabel.
- Kleidung Empfehlungen: Kleiden Sie sich saisonal angemessen und tragen Sie bequeme Kleidung, die nicht zu locker ist, sowie Schuhe mit geschlossener Zehe zur Sicherheit.
- Verspätete Gebühren: Während wir Ihren Verleih nicht direkt verlängern können, wird für die Rückgabe Ihres Fahrrads nach der anfänglichen Mietzeit eine Verspätungsgebühr von 15 $ pro Stunde pro Fahrrad und 25 $ pro Stunde für Elektrofahrräder oder Roller berechnet.

Reserved e-bikes months out for 24 hour rental. Arrived to find out they rented them all out. We had to wait an extra hour before two e-bikes returned. When we got them, one didn’t last because the battery they gave us was only charged at 78%. Had to return early because they fail to disclose that certain hotels will not let you charge e-bikes. Also, to note, they do not rent out bike locks for e-bikes so our museum tour had to be cancelled. Also, they failed to disclose that the baskets they rent out won’t fit on e-bikes as well. We had to carry our food and drinks in a paper bag that eventually tore and spilled all over the busy road in Central Park. All in all it was a horrible day that we sadly regret booking with this company.
I had a blast renting from Central Park Bike Rentals in Central Park, it’s a solid 5-star experience! Their bikes, from e-bikes to tandems, are in great shape, making it super easy to cruise around spots like Bethesda Fountain without worrying about a clunky ride. I travel a lot and I’ve rented bikes all over the US and also in Europe. This bike was the crummiest I’ve ever rented. There are lots of bike rental places around Central Park, I’d recommend checking them out. People in the park riding bikes from other companies seemed to be having a better experience than I was!
Everything was great except we didn’t get bike locks with our E bike rental. We couldn’t do all the sightseeing around Central Park. We were planning because we couldn’t leave the bikes alone.
