Fado-Erlebnis in Lissabon: Rundgang, Abendessen und Live-Musikshow

Beschreibung

This tour is not for everyone. Lara was very nice and enthusiastic but her enthusiasm led to frequent digressions that caused the walking portion of the tour to extend a half hour beyond the published hour. The tour description should have indicated that it was strenuous and was not appropriate for anyone with difficulty with steep inclines. The restaurant food, music and service were reasonably good but my sister-in-law was pickpocketed during the lights-out portion of the show. Directions to the taxi stand (Go down the alley and take a left.) after the show didn't work out; probably because people who left us before got the cabs. We went to the next major street to catch an Uber where were pursued twice by a rather tall vagrant who kept shouting "Money, money, money! It took a direct confrontation to get rid of him. Over, the tout was poorly described and executed.
Went on the Fado tour with Lara as my tour guide. She was very knowledgeable and friendly. The music was amazing and I felt like I learnt a lot.
Lara is the best so captivating and full of stories to tell, the food was amazing the atmosphere was awesome i would definitely recommend this tour and lara as your guide!
If you’re visiting Portugal and want a deep dive into its historical and musical history, the Fado Tour was a must. Our guide, Lara Barbosa, only made the experience that much better with her deep passion for history and welcoming attitude. She didn’t just recite facts, but was able to tie together the history of Lisbon and the origins of Fado in the Alfamo district in a easy to understand way, and even provided fun facts from her own culture, Brazil, which made it apparent that they genuinely love what they do. The fado performance itself was breathtaking. The singers poured their hearts into every note, giving me chills more than once. Overall, the experience was amazing, and Lara was a 10/10 tour guide. I highly recommend!
We had a nice evening overall and are glad we experienced a traditional Fado dinner while visiting Lisbon. Our tour guide, Miguel, was friendly and accommodating. Before the tour, I told him I was experiencing hot flashes and wasn’t sure if I’d be able to keep up with the walking. He reassured me that we’d take things at a comfortable pace, and he absolutely kept his word, which I really appreciated. One of the highlights of the evening was meeting another wonderful family on the tour. We ended up making new friends, which made the experience even more memorable. The Fado performances themselves were very enjoyable. Both the male and female singers were talented, and it was a wonderful introduction to this beautiful Portuguese tradition. The dinner, however, was just okay. The menu wasn’t explained in much detail, so I ended up choosing the chicken, which wasn’t particularly memorable. The sangria was delicious, but the meal overall didn’t stand out. The staff also didn’t check in after serving the food to see if everything was satisfactory. Toward the end of the evening, we also felt a bit rushed, as if the restaurant was ready for our group to leave before the scheduled end of the experience. Dessert was a simple sorbet, which was fine but not especially memorable. Overall, we’re glad we went because the music, cultural experience, and the people we met made the evening worthwhile. With a little more attention to the dining experience and guest hospitality, it could be an even better experience for future visitors.
It was a fun and different experience. Our guide, Lara, was fun and very informative!
Our guide Lara was super friendly. She gave us a good glimpse of the history of Lisbon and Portugal, and the connection with Brazil too. The walk thru the ups and downs of narrow cobbled Lisbon streets was unique in it's own way. The weather was beautiful in the evening as we were brought to the restaurant. Light breeze, good food and cocktail and the Fado music made the evening. Definitely recommend it.
A truly authentic Fsdo experience. We loved the outdoor setting and the performances were excellent. It is hilly, but our guide was accommodating. I was able to manage the walk with a sprained ankle
This walking tour took us to beautiful vistas and interesting back streets. The Fado music was haunting and beautiful and food was delicious. Our guide Miguel was very knowledgeable and entertaining.
The show, dinner and guide were entertaining and educational. A fun evening to be sure.
