We didn't get to see much. Tour guide said "oh, that's got great things in there" and kept walking. Tour was discombobulated.
Thanks for your feedback. I will review with your guide to review if we are missing anything. This tour typically showcases the original Declaration of Independence, US Constitution, Bill of Rights, and several other can't miss items throughout 3 of the National Archives exhibits after enjoying skip-the-line entry to the building. After the tour, we allow our guests to continue to explore more on their own if they choose.
Great tour and skip to the front is the way to go. We would very much recommend this tour group to those going to DC
Christine was very friendly and knowledgeable! Got right past the line to get in and she gave me a solid history lesson and interesting details.
Liam was a terrific tourguide-bright, sharp, entertaining and informative. I would highly recommend this tour for anyone visiting DC.
Our guide was knowledgeable, and very helpful. Loved that we got to skip the line! Seeing our founding documents is an amazing experience!
Highly recommend to navigate you through the crowds and get you to the main events of the museum. We enjoyed our knowledgeable guide and learned a lot.
That's the best part of joining us! You get to see the best of Smithsonian with a knowledgeable guide AND get around the crowds to get up close and personal to the artifacts. We hope you enjoyed your adventure!
Nice walk to Archive with interesting info shared. Pass every line and get right up to documents immediately. She did a terrific job putting it into context and discussed architecture and art also. You are able to meet tomorrow the other exhibits, and that was definitely worthwhile to plan extra time on the end of the tour to do that!
Our tour of the National Archives Museum was outstanding thanks to our guide. He brought history to life with stories, knowledge, and enthusiasm. His explanations made the experience much more meaningful. He was patient (our last tour of the trip after days of walking), organized, and happy to answer our questions. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting WashingtonDC.
We thoroughly enjoyed this tour. Our guide, Shane, is extremely knowledgeable and has a great sense of humor. We were familiar with some of the documents we were going to see (Declaration of Independence, U.S. Constitution, etc.), but the background knowledge Shane provided was very detailed and really insightful. Not only did he provide information about the documents but also information about the paintings in the Rotunda and throughout the building. I highly recommend this tour.
Wear good walking shoes. Be ready for building security checks. Stay close to the guide to hear everything.
