The Pompeii guided tour was wonderful. My family and I enjoyed it very much. The archaeological site itself was fascinating, and our guide made the experience even better with their extensive knowledge and engaging explanations. We learned so much about the history, culture, and daily life of ancient Pompeii. The tour was well organized, informative, and enjoyable for both adults and children. I highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Pompeii.
Our guide Benedicto, was fantastic.. Pompeii itself is just an incredibly amazing story and an amazing site to see. I can see that it could be a difficult walk for some due to the uneven surfaces, lots of step up and step downs, and in the beginning it is a steep climb on slippery rocks. Otherwise great!
There is a lot of uneven walking. A lot. One woman had an asthma attack. It moves pretty fast and there’s so much more to see than what the 2 hrs covers. So you can see the rest after the tour.
Antonio was an excellent guide, explaining things clearly including the options at end of the tour. He also involved different members of the group by asking questions and asking them to demonstrate such as how the road would have been crossed when it was raining.
Francesco was friendly, knowledgeable and had a good sense of humour. We saw a large portion of Pompeii and he gave directions for how to continue on your own.
Where comfortable shoes due to rocky, and uneven terrain throughout the site. Amazing that there is so much of a city intact.
This was such a great experience. It’s a HUGE city and this tour gives you the 2 hour brief highlights (PERFECT for those who lose interest or grow tired beyond a few hours). You get the history and the fun, but since the city is huge, it would be so hard to navigate and enjoy alone. Do this trip!! And our guide, I believe her name was Marilyn & I apologize if I’m incorrect, was so fun and great at her job!! Loved it
It was easy to get our tickets, and the guide was great. Paulo did an excellent job showing us around, and besides informative was also engaging.
