Svetlana, our guide, was very interesting and relevant. The food we tried was good. I invite people to try it. Take the tour at the beginning of your trip, but it remains a novelty after a few days, except for the rye bread, which is excellent by the way!
This was an amazing experience! Anastasia was an excellent guide and all the places she took us were top notch. We were all so pleased! And easy to enjoy as a vegetarian!
Great information about the city and amazing food. Our guide was knowledgeable and showed us many notable places around the city.
A lovely experience. Relaxed and personal approach. Friendly and experienced guide.
This was incredible! Got to learn about the city and taste lots of wonderful, local things. Do it at the beginning of your trip so you can leverage all the guide's amazing tips for things to do and eat in the city. She even provided us a full list and maps at the end!
Anastasia did a wonderful job telling us all about the town of Tallinn and its history. She’s exceptionally knowledgeable about the food of the area. We sampled some local items and dishes in several different Old Town locations. Everyone in Tallinn all inn should take the tour!
Lana our Tour Guide was excellent! She was knowledgeable, kind, and had a friendly personality! The food was delicious and the places chosen were well selected. Lana’s knowledge of the Tallin Olde Town was appropriate and informative!
I really enjoyed this food tour with Svetlana. She did an excellent job weaving Estonian history with the elements of the food tour for our group of six people. We had a chance to sample a number of Estonian foods that I probably wouldn’t have had a chance to try in typical restaurants. I appreciate how accommodating Svetlana was with my dietary restrictions (I don’t eat red meat or alcohol). There wasn’t much walking involved as most of the stops were quite close together, but there are lots of cobblestones and uneven surfaces in the old town which could make it a difficult tour for persons with limited mobility. The tour ended with some excellent recommendations for both places to eat and things to do in and around Tallinn.
On this tour, Anastasia shared a lot about Old Town, history and the culture of Estonia. We had several stops for food including Munga Kelder where we had mushroom soup and blood bread and Pelman Kohvik for dumplings, a sampler platter and a beer.
Anastasia is a wonderful guide. She told us interesting facts about the various buildings in Old Town and we sampled a nice selection of local delicacies.
