Mit dieser Tour können Sie an einem Tag die Essenz Teneriffas kennenlernen. Wir beginnen den Tag mit einem Besuch der Küstenstadt Candelaria, wo sich die Basilika von Candelaria befindet, eine der wichtigsten Kultstätten auf Teneriffa. Der Ausflug geht weiter in La Orotava. Hier erkunden wir Orte voller Charme und Kultur wie La Casa de Los Balcones oder die Plaza del Ayuntamiento. Wir werden unsere Reise in Garachico fortsetzen, einer Stadt, deren Geschichte durch einen Vulkanausbruch im Jahr 1706 geprägt ist. Wir werden durch das historische Zentrum spazieren und so symbolträchtige Orte wie die natürlichen Pools von El Caletón oder das Castillo de San Miguel besuchen. Hier haben Sie freie Zeit, um auf eigene Faust zu Mittag zu essen oder die kanarische Küche in einem der von uns empfohlenen Restaurants zu probieren. Nach diesem Besuch betreten wir den Teno Rural Park. Über kurvenreiche Straßen gelangen wir nach Masca, einem von spektakulären Klippen umgebenen Weiler, der seine traditionelle kanarische Architektur bewahrt hat.

Sobald die Abholungen beendet sind, verlassen Sie die Hotelzone in Richtung Villa de Candelaria. Dort können Sie die Basilika besichtigen, in deren Inneren sich die Virgen de Candelaria (oder Virgen Morenita), die Schutzpatronin der Kanarischen Inseln, befindet. Sie werden auch von den imposanten Bronzestatuen überrascht sein, die an die alten Menceyes (Guanchenkönige) von Teneriffa erinnern und ein Nationaldenkmal darstellen.
Der Ausflug geht weiter in den Norden der Insel, wo Sie einen Spaziergang durch die historisch-künstlerische Stätte Villa de La Orotava unternehmen. Seine Straßen voller Geschichte und Schönheit führen Sie zur La Casa de Los Balcones, einem der repräsentativsten Gebäude in La Orotava und einem Zentrum für Stickereien und Laubsägearbeiten typisch kanarischer Trachten.
Wir werden mit dem Besuch von Garachico fortfahren, das 2021 in die Liste der „SCHÖNSTEN DÖRFER IN SPANIEN“ aufgenommen wurde, eine Stadt, die nach ihrer teilweisen Zerstörung durch einen Vulkanausbruch im Jahr 1706 später wieder aufgebaut wurde. Es verfügt derzeit über ein reiches architektonisches Erbe aus dem 16. und 17. Jahrhundert, das sehr gut erhalten ist, weshalb sein historisches Zentrum 1994 zum Kulturgut erklärt wurde. Sie haben freie Zeit, um alleine zu Mittag zu essen oder die lokale Küche in einem der von uns empfohlenen Restaurants zu genießen.
Auf dem Rückweg in den Süden der Insel betreten wir den Teno Rural Park, um das malerische Bauernhaus Masca zu besuchen, eine der schönsten Landschaften Teneriffas, in der sich Natur und eines der besten Beispiele traditioneller Architektur der Kanarischen Inseln vermischen

This was a very enjoyable experience - touring around most of the island visiting some very interesting historical places such as Candelaria and Oratava and seeing some stunning scenery. Our guide gsve us alot of interesting information about the places and Tenerife.

Laura the tour guide and Rico (sp?) the driver were excellent. Laura spoke in English and French and was so fun and knowledgeable and spent pyres between stop offs around the island explaining about the history and geography of the place. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience. We recommend opting to have a meal at the restaurant they recommend in garachico. We had the best paella I’ve tasted with a view of the ocean. Our favourite Tenerife experience so far.

The trip was cancelled 3 minutes before the coach arrived. Complete waste of our time
Dear Traveler, Due to Storm Therese, an official adverse weather warning was issued which forced us to cancel the excursions on Thursday and Friday. Although the alert had been lifted for Saturday, unfortunately the situation changed unexpectedly and the rain returned during the early hours of Saturday morning. We contacted all customers individually first thing in the morning, as early as possible, taking into account that pick-ups are scheduled at very early hours. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused and appreciate your understanding, as the safety of our customers is always our top priority. Best regards,
I loved the return to the island, as a local I learned much more about tenerife on this excursion and it was the first time I went to masca which is beautiful, thanks especially to the guide Peter, the driver and the Atlantic organization, that it is not easy to manage so many stops in such a short time. Amazing!

This tour is worth every penny. You are taken all over the island and have the opportunity to explore the nothern historic part of Tenerife. Peter (our guide) was humourous and knowledgable. This tour involves lots of walking and some steep inclines so wear comfortable shoes. The views along the way are just spectacular and the winding roads demand a very experienced and patient coach driver like ours. The one drawback was the lunch. We were offered to lunch at a Catalonian restaurant for 15 euros which is very reasonable but I would avoid the chicken! Apart from that, it was an excellent tour and a terrific way to tour Tenerife.
There were only two highlights on this trip. The first was the visit to Mount Tiede. Unfortunately we were only allowed a 30 minute stop, which for those who watched the video in the museum left very little time to explore the area around the Roques de Garcia, which gave wonderful views of the surrounding landscape. The second highlight was the trip from the village of Masca back to the main highway. The views were spectacular and the driver’s skills around the hairpin bends is to be commended. However, the bit in the middle was boring to say the least and the trip was overly long (11 1/2 hours from pick up to return). The commentary was repeated in three different languages which was overly loud and annoyed a lot of people as the speakers were directly over your head. Although the tour guide Ivan did his best, it would have been better for him to have announced where the next destination was, and hand out the history of the destination on a sheet of paper for guests to read at their leisure, and then ask question if necessary.
Hello Richard. Thank you for your comments. We are sorry to hear that your experience with us did not meet your expectations. It is true that on tours of this type, there is sometimes not enough time to discover 100% of all the places we visit. But it is an efficient way to explore the island, which is quite large, in just one day. Our excursions last approximately 8/9 hours, from pick-up to drop-off at the hotel. This time can be more or less, depending on factors beyond our control, such as traffic. On the other hand, as offered, the tour is a regular shared bus tour with a maximum of 3 languages at all times. Our guides try to make the day as enjoyable as possible by giving quite simple information and explanations of cultural and historical interest throughout the tour. Even so, we hope you enjoyed your stay on the island!
Despite a super friendly and hilarious polyglot guide, I regret the little time spent at each stage. Even when preparing, setting out alone and at a run, it is not possible to see more than the local clichés, and completely impossible to immerse yourself in the places. Good to get a first idea and know where to return while taking your time.

Very nice to see all sides of the island. The stops where very short and i would have liked more time to look around, but what we did see whas very divers. The hairpin bends on the way to and from Masca where a very good exciting end of this trip.
