Eine geführte Tour durch das historische Zentrum von Valencia, um seine emblematischsten Denkmäler zu besuchen, mit besonderem Schwerpunkt auf den vier Weltkulturerbeobjekten der Stadt. Betreten Sie die Lonja de la Seda (Seidenbörse), genießen Sie die Vergangenheit und Gegenwart der Stadt und sorgen Sie für großartige und bleibende Erinnerungen an Ihren Besuch. *Im Falle einer Schließung der Seidenbörse aufgrund einer Veranstaltung während des Besuchs bieten wir die Möglichkeit, die Tickets an die Kunden zu senden, um am Nachmittag selbst einzutreten, oder wir versuchen, sie gegen eine Eintrittskarte in gleicher Höhe in ein anderes Museum/Monument umzutauschen.

Besichtigung des Bahnhofes.
Hier sprechen wir über die Fallas, die 2016 als letztes Valencia in die UNESCO-Liste aufgenommen wurden. Diese Feierlichkeiten finden zwischen dem 15. und 19. März statt und verwandeln die Stadt in ein Freilichtmuseum vergänglicher Monumente, begleitet von Musik, traditionellen Kostümen und dem Geruch von Schießpulver.

Wir betreten die Lonja de la Seda, ein Meisterwerk zivilgotischer Architektur, das 1996 zum Weltkulturerbe erklärt wurde. Die fabelhafte Sala de Contratación mit ihren Säulen, Gewölben und Rippen versetzt uns in die Blütezeit des Goldenen Zeitalters Valencias. Bei den Abendführungen (im August und September um 18:30 Uhr) ist der Eintritt nicht inbegriffen.
Externer Besuch
Das Tribunal der Gewässer, seit 2008 immaterielles Erbe der Menschheit, findet jeden Donnerstag um 12.00 Uhr am Aposteltor der Kathedrale statt.

Valencia is a lovely city with an old centre that is stuffed with interesting buildings. Our guide, Belen, was full of enthusiasm and information about the city. She went at a sensible pace and pointed out aspects of the city that you would never have got by yourself. The vulgar stone carvings were particularly amusing and the sort of thing you are unlikely to notice unless someone like Belen points them out. Our tour concentrated on the historical centre so we didn't get to see the modern architecture nor have an amble along the lovely park that was the river bed, but these we will do on a future visit - we are definitely coming back. If you have limited time or simply want to see the historical centre of the city, then hiring a guide like Belen is absolutely the right way to go. We would highly recommend her tour.

Walking was a good way to get introduced to important sites in Valencia. Plan for stairs. I was happy to move quickly from one site to the next.

This was a very informative tour of the history of Valencia and some its main buildings. We visited the City Hall and the Silk Market inside and outside, the main train station, the mercado and the Cathedral. Our guide was very friendly and knowledgeable.
