The pickup point was confusing. But Patricia contacted us and all was fine.Patricia our guide had a lot of history and info to share with us. She was very accommodating when we told her we had to rush to get back to the ship. She even walked back to the ship with us. I would highly recommend Patricia. Plus the food choices were excellent
Interesting food choices, but the guide, Patricia, seemed disorganized. For instance, we sat at a restaurant for an hour before we were even served anything. And she talked way too much about her political views and not enough about history.

Guide spent way too long at second stop. Over lunch talked a lot about her personal life and politics. I wanted to hear about Quebec, including information on its food and its history. I would prefer multiple shorter stops. Instead we lingered at our second stop for well over an hour and only stopped three places total.
A friendly guide led us to some eateries and talked extensively about Quebec family life and history. She had some, but not deep knowledge of Quebec history. She made us taste the real poutine, and to our great surprise, it was not only palatable, it was delicious! I guess the price of foods in the tour totalled $ 30-40. Not sure how they came to a total of $280,..
Patricia was terrific! She texted ahead of time and was so helpful in the lead up to the tour. My only constructive criticism is that she would have kept international political discussions out of the tour. Though I agreed with what she said politically, those of us from the USA are on holiday and trying to escape politics, not be reminded of them while on vacation.
Overall, we had a great time and really enjoyed the experience. The local food we tried was delicious, and we appreciated how the tour mixed the city’s history and culture with the food. Our guide was friendly, knowledgeable, and clearly very passionate about Quebec City. There are a couple of things I think could make the experience even better. First, I would suggest limiting some of the commentary around geopolitics. We came to enjoy and learn about Quebec City, its history, food, and culture not to engage in current political discussions. Second, three of our five food tastings took place at the same restaurant. While the restaurant and food were excellent, we would have preferred the tastings to be spread among more establishments. Part of the fun of a food tour is getting to experience a variety of local restaurants and different parts of the city. Overall, it was a fun and enjoyable tour with great food and a passionate guide. With a few small adjustments, it could be an even better experience

Patricia is a high energy guide. We leaned alot and enjoyed the food choices. There is alot of walking with hills.
