Dear David Munjic, Let’s be very clear: your review deliberately leaves out important parts of the experience. You mention “potato wedges” as if that was the food tour. What you were served was patatas bravas, one of the most typical tapas in Spain — and that was only one item at one stop. At that same stop you had three tapas and a drink, and the tour includes five different tasting stops in total. Presenting the experience as “potato wedges” is misleading. Regarding the photos, this is an extra gesture that our guides often do in their own time, not the core service purchased. If there was an issue receiving them, the normal thing would have been to contact us so we could check it. Instead, you chose to attack a guide who consistently receives excellent feedback and works very hard to give customers a great experience. You also posted this complaint on GetYourGuide and here, while suggesting there are no negative reviews there. The reason is simple: most guests genuinely enjoy the tour. If they have a small issue, they contact us respectfully — they don’t try to damage a guide’s reputation online. Could it also be possible that the phone number was written incorrectly? Dear Shon, We must say your review is very surprising and does not match at all with the feedback from the rest of the group on that same day, nor with the hundreds of positive reviews this tour consistently receives. In fact, we checked with other participants from your group, and they all confirmed they had a very good experience — including the food, the pace, and the guide. Regarding the food: what we offer is carefully selected, authentic local products that are not easy to find on your own — such as variat, traditional convent biscuits, ensaimadas, and local almond specialities. If you found “the same food better elsewhere”, it would be interesting to know where, as many of these items are quite unique and not commonly available in the same way. About the guide: he is experienced and never leaves anyone behind. He always keeps track of both the first and last guests in the group. Different walking speeds can happen, but the group is always controlled. Also, you are the first clients to ever claim they could not understand him, while all other participants had no issue at all. For all these reasons, your comments appear inconsistent and incomplete, and do not reflect the actual experience delivered. It seems there may be aspects not mentioned in your review that influenced your opinion. But we think you already know that, and we have our guides internal report about that day.
