Essen und Bootsfahrt auf dem Mekong-Fluss

Beautiful experience. We booked a few hours in advance requesting a vegan menu and a vegetarian one. The food was delicious. The onboard service was very elegant. The staff was very kind. The view and the scenery are worth the experience.

Nice show, on the small side. Really enjoyed the local music they played throughout the meal. Remember your kip for drinks.

This was a lovely evening experience on the river. The food was pentiful and of relatively good quality. There were several courses. It was good value for money but not sensational dining. The boat is licensed to sell alcoholic drinks to accompany dinner. It was lovely watching the sunset over the river, while other little craft sailed past and riberbank life went on. A pleasant opportunity to step outside the busyness of toen for a couple of hours. On board entertainment was pleasant and comprised a group of traditional Lao musicians and three beautiful dancers who changed their costumes three times to match the dances they were showing us. The staff were kind and accommodating in moving table settings around to match our party. There was pick up from the hotel but I made my own way back. Can't remember if a drop off was offered but it was a gorgeous evening and after all the lovely food, I enjoyed the walk.
