This food and tea tour was one of the most enjoyable experiences we had in Cairo. It’s the perfect way to discover the city beyond the typical tourist attractions. Our guide took us to several authentic local spots where Egyptians actually eat, which made the experience feel very genuine and special. We tried a variety of traditional dishes like koshary, ta’amiya (Egyptian falafel), hawawshi, and other local favorites. Everything was incredibly delicious and freshly prepared. I especially loved learning about the history and culture behind each dish while walking through the lively streets of Cairo. The tour ended at a traditional café where we enjoyed mint tea like locals do. Sitting there, relaxing and watching the city life around us, was the perfect ending to the evening. Extremely friendly people . The people treat you as family. And will always check if you need something Local Egyptian food will forever have my heart specially the girled meat and salads , let's not forget a hibiscus tea . But, it will always be amazing with the people and how they treated us .
