Rajeev was extremely professional, knowledgeable and friendly. He did everything as planned, perfectly and at all times we felt looked after. Nothing was too much trouble and I could not recommend him enough. He is also an excellent photographer for those holiday pics :)
A tour guide who is insanely knowledgeable about the Taj, Fort and Agra. A true expert-and a nice dude as well, who was always ready to answer our questions and take our pictures. Loved visiting a local village as well. Highly recommended.
Quite simply, Rajeev is an excellent guide and I highly recommend him. He knows so much, nothing is too much trouble and he's utterly reliable. Simply put, Raj was an extraordinary guide. He's passionate and knowledgeable about his city and cares deeply about the experience of his guests. Perhaps even more valuable, however, is he knows where and how to get the photos that matter most. You want a photo that makes it feel like you're all alone at the Taj? Raj is your man. Our visit to the Taj Mahal and Ref Fort was incredible. The Taj Mahal is an ivory white marble mausoleum, on the bank of the Yamuna River. Commissioned in 1632 by the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan, it has the most amazing history and a wonderful atmospheric feel. The 94 acre sandstone Red Fort was built even earlier (1565) on the same river bank, by the Great Mughal Emperor Akbar. Its size is quite overwhelming. Our visit to these monuments was a much richer experience with the assistance and approach of our guide, Rajeev Sikawar. His knowledge of Indian (and indeed English!) history is quite astounding and he also relates some interesting anecdotes about the lives of the people at that time. His service is very personal and he makes you feel safe in what is a busy, thriving city. Thankyou Rajeev.
