Patong Beach ist das wahre Herz von Phuket und das, was es für viele so attraktiv macht. Patong ist groß, mutig, überfüllt, hell und laut. Und doch strömen jedes Jahr Millionen von Menschen hierher wie Fliegen auf Honig. Wenn Bangkok die Big Mango ist, dann ist Patong der Big Durian: Sie werden Patong lieben!
Der Karon Viewpoint ist einer der meistbesuchten Aussichtspunkte in Phuket. Von hier aus haben Sie Aussicht auf die Strände Kata Noi, Kata Yai und Karon. Karon Viewpoint wird bei der Nachmittagssonnenuntergang-Tour nicht besucht. Der Aussichtspunkt liegt zwischen den Stränden Nai Harn und Kata Noi und ist an den meisten Tagen im Jahr ein wichtiger Bestandteil vieler Reiserouten. Die örtliche Gemeinde, die vor Ort als "Khao Saam Haad" (Berg der drei Strände) bezeichnet wird, wurde aus irgendeinem Grund offiziell in "Karon Viewpoint" umbenannt. Es befindet sich südlich des Kata Noi-Strandes und blickt direkt auf die Andamanensee. Die meisten Leute haben ihre Kameras jedoch genau nach Norden gerichtet, und zwar an dem unbestreitbaren acht Kilometer langen Blick auf die drei Strände der Westküste im Hintergrund.
Von den vielen Tempeln auf der Insel Phuket ist der Wat Chalong-Tempel der größte und am meisten verehrte. Die Tempelanlage wurde 1837 an ihrem heutigen Standort erbaut. Es wurden einige Überreste älterer Bauwerke gefunden, jedoch ist nicht genau bekannt, wie alt sie sind. Auf dem großen Gelände des Wat Chalong, das offiziell Wat Chaitararam heißt, befinden sich ein Viharn, ein Mondop, ein Ubosot, ein Chedi mit einem geheimen Relikt, ein Sala und ein Krematorium.
Eine Tour durch eine Cashewnussfabrik in Phuket ist ein Muss für Cashewnussliebhaber. Die Cashewnuss ist ein einheimisches Produkt, das in Phuket und anderen Provinzen Südthailands angebaut wird und im Vergleich zu den Preisen in westlichen Ländern relativ billig ist.
Die Altstadt von Phuket ist ein Gebiet von historischem Interesse in der Stadt Phuket. Die Hauptstraßen der Altstadt von Phuket sind Thalang, Phang Nga, Krabi, Dibuk und Yoawarat. Die Altstadt von Phuket ist bekannt für chinesisch-portugiesische Gebäude auf beiden Seiten der Straße. Während der Nachmittagstour werden wir anhalten und dies wird eine Wanderung für ca. 45 Minuten sein. Nur während der Morgentour passieren wir einige Straßen, ohne anzuhalten.
Big Buddha Phuket ist eine 45 Meter hohe Statue aus weißem Marmor, die von überall im Süden von Phuket sichtbar ist. Es ist wahrscheinlich das A und O in Phuket und das aus gutem Grund. Die Aussicht von dort oben ist atemberaubend. Die Statue wurde mit Spenden von Menschen erbaut und befindet sich noch im Bau. Wenn Sie etwas tun möchten, um die breite Basis des Buddha fertigzustellen, können Sie je nach Größe ein Stück weißen Marmor für 300 bis 1.000 Baht sponsern.

Basically drove us around the southern part of island with a few stops. Guide seemed uninterested and was on her phone for the most part. Driver was very kind and tried hard to interact with us even given limited English. Not sure what the purpose of guide was

A good way to get an overview of Phuket if you are only here for a short time. As this was a private tour we were able to customize it which worked well for us.

It was very good. Our tour guide and driver were very professional and kind. The tour was four hours which was enough to stop and visit many places and we still had half of the day for us.

Great way to see most of the island of Phuket. Our guide, Phone , had an excellent command of the English language and was really knowledgeable. We were given 40 minutes of free time in the old town to shop. Had a great lunch there. Would certainly recommend taking this tour.
