Mak was a knowledgeable and friendly guide. We enjoyed his insights into World War I as well as the Bosnian war.
We did not do a guided tour, we toured this site on our own! This is a really interesting spot in Sarajevo. They display a replica car in which the Archduke and his wife were assassinated. They have concrete footprints showing where the assassin stood when he fired the “Shot Heard Around The World”, and the start of WW1. There is a small museum there that explains how the assassination took place, with a video re-enactment.
Amazing experience! Both as a tourist and a historian I was amazed by the quality of the VR lesson (visual exp. , voice acting, etc.) It was my first time using VR headset so I needed few minutes to accommodate, but after that I enjoyed the ride! P.S. For those interested it lasts cc 11min.
