Bei dieser Tour entdecken wir zusammen mit einem lokalen Begleiter das authentische Padua. Wir werden einen Spaziergang durch die Stadt machen, um die wichtigsten Sehenswürdigkeiten und Monumente zu entdecken. Wir werden Prato della Valle sehen, die Basilika des Heiligen Antonius oder "Il Santo" (der Heilige), Ziel von Millionen von Pilgern jedes Jahr und eine romantische Mischung von Stilen und Kulturen aus allen Ecken der Welt. Entlang der kopfsteingepflasterten Straßen und mittelalterlichen Arkaden erreichen wir das Herz des historischen Zentrums. Wir werden das alte Ghetto der Stadt sehen, das mit seinen engen Gassen und Bars zu einem Treffpunkt für junge Studenten geworden ist. Dann die Plätze, Piazza delle Erbe und Piazza della Frutta mit ihrem Blick auf den Palazzo della Ragione und oft belebt durch die Marktstände und das Treiben der Menschen unter dem "Salone". Wir erreichen die Piazza dei Signori, den Treffpunkt der Einwohner Paduas zum Aperitif und einst Sitz der Stadtherren. Palazzo Bo, Sitz der Universität von Padua. Wir schließen die Tour mit einem Imbiss/Aperitiv auf Paduanischer Art.

Die Basilika Sant'Antonio oder "Il Santo" ist jedes Jahr das Ziel von Millionen von Pilgern, eine romantische Mischung aus Stilen und Kulturen aus allen Teilen der Welt.
Im Süden der Piazza delle Erbe bildet sich ein Labyrinth von engen Gassen, das das jüdische Ghetto bildet, das seit 1603 in Betrieb ist und 1797 abgeschafft wurde. In diesem Jahr wurden die Juden unter dem Druck der Französischen Revolution für frei und gleich erklärt.
Der Markt befindet sich im Zentrum der Stadt in einem großen Gebäude namens Palazzo della Ragione. Auf dem sogenannten überdachten Markt „Sotto il Salone“ gibt es verschiedene gastronomische Fachgeschäfte, in denen Sie alle Arten von Paduan-Spezialitäten und Spitzenleistungen finden. Hier finden Sie Metzger, Fischhändler, Gemüsehändler und viele andere Geschäfte, die Öl, Fleisch, Käse und vieles mehr verkaufen.
Die Piazza delle Erbe, einst auch Piazza delle Biade oder Piazza del Vino genannt, aber auch die Piazza della Giustizia, ist einer der zahlreichen Plätze, die das historische Zentrum von Padua charakterisieren. Mit der Piazza della Frutta war es jahrhundertelang das Handelszentrum der Stadt. Auf den beiden Plätzen findet einer der größten Märkte Italiens statt. Im Gegensatz zur Piazza dei Signori, dem Schauplatz bürgerlicher Feierlichkeiten, war die Piazza delle Erbe Schauplatz populärer Feierlichkeiten. Der Platz wird vom massiven Palazzo della Ragione dominiert, der Teil des großen Palazzo Comunale ist.
Die Piazza della Frutta, einst auch Piazza del Peronio genannt, ist einer der zahlreichen Plätze, die das historische Zentrum von Padua charakterisieren. Es war jahrhundertelang mit der Piazza delle Erbe, dem Handelszentrum der Stadt. Auf den beiden Plätzen findet einer der größten Märkte Italiens statt. Der Platz wird vom massiven Palazzo della Ragione dominiert, der Teil des großen Palazzo Comunale und des Torre degli Anziani ist.
Der Palazzo Bo Sitz der Universität von Padua, gegründet 1222, ist der historische Sitz der Universität von Padua. Es beherbergt immer noch das Rektorat und die School of Law. Es ist auch der Sitz des ältesten anatomischen Theaters der Welt.
Auch als Café ohne Türen bekannt, da es von seiner Einweihung 1831 bis 1916 Tag und Nacht geöffnet war. Hier kann man CAFFÈ PEDROCCHI probieren, den berühmtesten Kaffee mit Minze der Welt, der aus der perfekten Kombination von 100% Arabica-Espresso und Emulsion stammt von frischer Sahne und Minze in Sirup und einer Prise bitterem Kakao.

It was a pleasure to spend a few hours in Nico’s company. The tour was very informative, we asked questions and never felt rushed. Nico is very nice and attentive person who loves his city.
