Our quide, Franziska, did an excellent job of explaining the history of Basel and the main sites in Old Town. We had a short stay in Basel and this was a great way to learn more about the city. Franziska was very good in contacting us and communicating with us before the tour and was accomodating to our schedule when we had a minor schedule change.

Watch the pricing on this tour. The front page on Viator says prices from $43.48. When I choose the date and indicated it was for two people I ended up getting charged $191.94. We toured Amsterdam and took a Viking River Cruise down the Rhine and experienced a host of tour guides. This one was defintely over priced and under whelming. Would not recommend to others. My wife had to constantly ask questions to get any information provided.

As your booking was for two people, the cost per person was higher. That said, we truly hope you were still able to enjoy the highlights of Basel, and we would be happy to welcome you again on another LocalBini Experience in the future.
Our guide was friendly and personable. It ended there as he met us and said “what do you want to see?” We told him we’d never been here so points of interest, some history and places he’d recommend. We meandered through parts of town and he’d point out buildings but then didn’t know anything really about them. We were his 2nd tour. He needs to learn some history about the area and have a plan.
