Angelo is an amazing guide! He goes over the history of Portugal while sampling some of the locally owned restaurants. He has a great deal of knowledge and even gave us an extensive list of places to try in our stop, Lisbon.

We could not recommend this tour more. Our guide, Ângelo, truly became a local friend with recommendations, advice, and so much knowledge and passion to share. We got to see many beautiful sights in Ericeira, eat delicious food from local establishments, and learn about the history and culture of this amazing village. We loved this tour!

The Ericeira local food tour with Angelo was an amazing experience! Even though we had been in Ericeira for a few days beforehand, Angelo took us to all new spots frequented by locals that we never would have been to. The food and drink were so good! He was extremely kind and knowledgeable about Ericeira and its culture, as well as Lisbon and Portugal in general. He made the tour very accommodating for my family and I, including our 4 month old baby. I would recommend booking this tour at the beginning of your trip, because Angelo had many recommendations for afterward. I couldn’t recommend this tour enough, thank you Angelo!

Angelo was fantastic! Super friendly and just wanted everyone to enjoy themselves. Showed us spots that was locals only and was some of our favorite food/ drink of the trip. Couldn’t recommend him highly enough

WOW - my absolute favorite tour of our trip. This trip was an amazing opportunity to experience the culture and history of Ericeira. Each stop included, private access, exceptional service, and an incredible history lesson on the foods connection to the culture. I can’t recommend this tour enough and Angelo was an incredible guide.

I’m giving this 5/5 only because 10/5 isn’t an option. Angelo is an amazing tour guide with immense knowledge not only of Ericeira but of Portugal and the history of both. His selection of stops on the tour were outstanding. The food simply kept getting better and the wine selections were delicious. I cannot recommend this tour enough on your trip to Ericeira.

Angelo was warm, thoughtful, incredibly knowledgeable, and spoke perfect English. He taught us so much — not just about Ericeira, but about Portugal as a whole. We learned about the area’s history, culture, food, wine, and local traditions in a way that felt personal, engaging, and authentic. Ericeira itself is a gorgeous town with an amazing vibe. It reminded me of Southern California in the 1970s and 80s, like visiting Pismo Beach — relaxed, beautiful, full of character, and filled with great local spots. Angelo showed us hidden gems we never would have found on our own, including places locals actually go, and that made the experience even more memorable. This tour was far more than just a food tour — it gave us a deeper appreciation for Ericeira and made our entire trip there better. Angelo has such a beautiful approach as a guide: welcoming, insightful, generous with his knowledge, and clearly proud of sharing the best of his town and country. My wife and I had a wonderful experience, and we would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting the area — even if you are staying in Lisbon, it is absolutely worth making the trip. We wish Angelo all the best and are very grateful for such an incredible day.

The tour with Angela in Ericeira was fantastic! He was incredibly knowledgeable and took us to some amazing food spots we definitely would have missed on our own. The conversation was great, and it made for such a fun and memorable day. A wonderful experience all around! I can not recommend this tour enough.

Angelo was a fantastic guide. Very friendly and extremely knowledgeable of the culture, food and history. He took the time to ask us what we wanted to do or see and organized the tour around our interests. Angelo lead us all around Ericeira, off the beaten path and through the small streets where we could experience the true culture of the small town. We also got to enjoy authentic Portuguese food (and wine) at all of the restaurants. His insight and choice of places to show us demonstrated his passion for his country and his culture. He even gave us suggestions of places and restaurants to go to during our travels to Lisbon, Sintra and Porto! We couldn’t be more pleased with our tour and all of what we had the opportunity to experience. Well worth our time!!
