Wir starten unseren Abholservice von jedem Hotel, in dem Sie in Izmir übernachten. Wenn Sie Ihr Ephesus mit uns auspauken und in Kusadasi bleiben, ist dies der erste Abholort, der um 07:30 Uhr abfährt und weiter nach Selcuk fährt, wo Sie sich mit anderen Teilnehmern treffen werden. Nachdem alle zusammengekommen sind, beginnt die Tour mit dem Haus der Jungfrau Maria. Das Haus der Jungfrau Maria ist der Ort, an dem Maria möglicherweise ihre letzten Tage verbracht hat. Tatsächlich ist sie möglicherweise zusammen mit Saint John in die Gegend gekommen. Dieser Ort wurde 1986 offiziell zum Schrein der römisch-katholischen Kirche erklärt und ist seitdem ein beliebter Wallfahrtsort. Papst Paul VI. Besuchte das Heiligtum im Jahr 1967. Der Besuch des Hauses (Kirche) dauert etwa 45 Minuten und nach unserem Besuch; Es wird eine 5-minütige Fahrt nach Ephesus geben.

Ephesus ist ein außergewöhnliches Zeugnis der kulturellen Traditionen der hellenistischen, römischen und frühchristlichen Kaiserzeit. Apostel Paulus verbrachte wahrscheinlich während seiner dritten Missionsreise zweieinhalb Jahre in Ephesus. In zwei Stunden erkunden Sie die Stadt, indem Sie in Begleitung unseres englischsprachigen Reiseführers durch die Marmorstraßen spazieren. Auf unserer Tour werden wir Odeon, staatliche Agora, Prytaneion, Memmius-Denkmal, Domatian-Tempel, Herkules-Tor, Kuretenstraße, Hadrian-Tempel und Latriens sehen. Die Besichtigung des Privathauses (sogenanntes Bordell, "Terrassenhäuser") ist eine optionale Besichtigung für zusätzliche 25 ₺ / Person und Ihr Führer sollte vorher informiert werden. Nach Terrace Houses werden wir unsere Erkundungstouren mit der Celsus Library, der Marble Road, der Commercial Agora, dem Great Theather und der Arcadine (Harbour Road) fortsetzen.
Sirince ist ein altes Dorf von Rum (byzantinische Griechen) auf den Hügeln von Selcuk und 7 km von Ephesus entfernt. Im Rahmen des Friedensvertrages nach dem türkischen Nationalkrieg (1919-1922) wurde ein förmlicher Austausch zwischen Türken und Griechen vereinbart, und Sirince wird jetzt von Türken bewohnt. Das Dorf ist bekannt für seine schönen traditionellen Häuser und die Herstellung von Wein mit Fruchtgeschmack. und Sie haben Zeit für eine Weinprobe.

Hüray was an excellent guide, part informative and part humorous. She also was good at corralling all of us through the sites. The tour lengths were appropriate for each site: not too long and not too short.

We had an excellent tour of Ephesus with Huray as our guide. From the very beginning, she clearly explained the plan for each stop, making the day well organized and easy to follow. Her English was excellent, and she shared detailed, engaging information throughout the tour. At the House of the Virgin Mary, Huray provided fascinating historical and cultural context, and at the ancient city of Ephesus she brought the site to life with her knowledge while patiently answering all of our questions. She also made sure everyone stayed together and no one got lost, which made the experience very comfortable and stress-free. Although the Temple of Artemis is a shorter stop, she gave us enough free time to explore and take photos at our own pace. Lunch was another highlight—Huray arranged a delicious vegetarian meal at a lovely local restaurant, which we really appreciated. We also enjoyed strolling through the charming village of Şirince with enough time to explore on our own. Overall, Huray did a fantastic job. She was knowledgeable, organized, friendly, and attentive throughout the day. Her passion for the history of the region and her thoughtful planning made this one of the highlights of our trip. Great tour! We arrived at the House of Mother Mary at the perfect time and were able to avoid the large tour crowds. This gave me the opportunity to enjoy some meaningful spiritual moments. Our driver was friendly, and our tour guide, Ms. Huray, was both warm and highly knowledgeable. The guide was excellent for the information and kindness in the service. However, I do not like being taken to visit places for tourists to shop (carpet factory, business that makes cosmetics with olive oil). These activities are not included in the tour of the visit.
