Das Haus der Jungfrau Maria ist der Ort, an dem Maria möglicherweise ihre letzten Tage verbracht hat. Tatsächlich ist sie möglicherweise zusammen mit Saint John in die Gegend gekommen. Apostel Paulus verbrachte wahrscheinlich während seiner dritten Missionsreise zweieinhalb Jahre in Ephesus. Unsere Tour beinhaltet Odeon, staatliche Agora, Prytaneion, Memmius-Denkmal, Domatian-Tempel, Herkules-Tor, Kuretenstraße, Hadrian-Tempel, Latriens, Celsus-Bibliothek, Marmorstraße, kommerzielle Agora, Great Theather und Arcadine (Hafenstraße).
Alte luxuriöse Wohnvillen, die nach dem Hippodamian-Plan gebaut wurden und deren Straßen sich rechtwinklig schneiden. In den Häusern sind Zeichnungen von Gladiatoren, Karikaturen, Tieren und Grafiken von Personennamen, Gedichten und Liebeserklärungen zu sehen. Die Besichtigung des Privathauses (sogenanntes Bordell, "Terrassenhäuser") ist eine optionale Besichtigung für zusätzliche 25 ₺ / Person und Ihr Führer sollte vorher informiert werden.
Nach dem Mittagessen; Wir werden den Besuch des Tempels der Artemis fortsetzen. Das ist eines der sieben Weltwunder der Antike. Hier haben Sie gute Chancen, Fotos von der Johanneskirche und der Moschee von Isa Bey aus der besten Perspektive zu schießen.
Ein altes Dorf auf den Hügeln von Selcuk, berühmt für die Produktion von Wein mit Fruchtgeschmack und traditionellen Häusern. Es wurde einst von 'Rum' (byzantinischen Griechen) bewohnt, die nach dem Friedensvertrag nach dem türkischen Nationalkrieg mit den Türken vom griechischen Festland ausgetauscht wurden.

We had a great day trip to Ephesus with Huray as our guide. She was so lovely and made the history really interesting with her detailed but easy-to-follow explanations. We also liked that she showed us some local businesses along the way, which gave us a better feel for the area and its culture. The whole tour was well organised, and Huray was friendly, knowledgeable, and happy to answer any questions. We’d definitely recommend this tour!

1. This is not a private tour as advertised, but a small group tour 2. It states you can organise to go to terrace houses at Ephesus, but this was not actually possible 3. The tour of Ephesus archaeological park is rushed because you get to spend a lot of time with over-priced rug, oil, sweet sellers
